Sitting with Katsuki, Mina, Kaminari, Kirishima, and Sero, we chatted about the upcoming tournaments.

Kaminari looked towards me "How do you feel knowing I'm your first opponent?" before I could get a word in Mina spoke "Oh, she's going to beat your ass! No way are you winning!" Kaminari looked to her and yelled "Hey! I'm strong!" Katsuki chipped in "Stupid, you mean." I laughed before looking at Kaminari "I'm totally taking you down!"

Kaminari looked scared for a moment before he pointed at me "Uno reverse-"

Katsuki then said "You hurt her, and you'll have to sleep with one eye open." Kaminari stiffened up and slowly turned his head to look at Katsuki who had his usual death stare on. Kaminari gulped before looking at me "You know it's not personal, right?"

I grinned "I should be the one asking you that."

Sero then asked "How come you're out of your bandages but Aizawa isn't?" I looked to him and laughed slightly "Recovery Girl could heal me more because I get a more appropriate amount of sleep to Mr Aizawa. Pretty sure she could put him in a coma by just healing him." Mina then asked "Wait, does that mean you and Aizawa used to get healed together?" I nodded.

"Yeah, our appointments were always after the school day to not affect our schedules. They were initially apart but then Recovery Girl had a full infirmary at the time of one of my appointments and I was told to come back the next day." She hummed before blurting out "You and Mr Aizawa seem to talk a lot."

"Well, he has been helping me train."

Kirishima yelled "That's so cool! So have you been doing hand to hand combat with Mr Aizawa?" I shook my head "No, I've been working to free up my hands when using my quirk to go into the air. As I would previously use additional force through my hands to balance myself." Kaminari nodded before stopping "Wait, so you don't just emit force from your hands?" I shook my head, smirking "Yep, so you won't even be able to tell which force I'm emitting until it hits you."

"I'm so not winning." Sero and Kirishima laughed whilst Katsuki just watched me.

Walking up to the concrete stage which had been made for the tournaments, I looked around at the crowds. There was so many people, you couldn't make out a single person.

I then heard a familiar yell "Y/N!" Turning around and looking up, I saw Hanako, Rai, Axel, Lutz, and Loop. I smiled and waved up at them, the triplets cheering and waving. Hanako gave me a thumbs up. With a new found confidence I turned around and walked up the stairs, crossing over the boundary line.

Facing Kaminari he smiled "May the best person win?" I shook my head. "May we both take something from this?" He nodded and gave a thumbs up "I like the sound of that." I smiled.

As soon as the time started I sent a push force towards him, getting him out of bounds just as small sparks started to appear around his body. As soon as the battle was called he stopped using his quirk and looked around "It's already over? No fair!" I just laughed and said "Hey, I saved you from public embarrassment!" I gave two thumbs up and he rolled his eyes, yelling "I don't look like that!"

"Whatever you say!"

I then heard Present Mic "Now, if that wasn't the quickest match ever, I would be surprised!"

The tournaments carried on, some being short as others were dragged out. Before long, I was back out on the tournament stage, and this time against Iida.

"Best of luck Midoriya!" I gave him a curt nod, not wanting to give the impression that I'd like to talk to him seen as he is friends with Izuku.

The start was announced and I decided to only put a slight push force against Iida, slowing him down only slightly. As he came towards me I took small steps back until I was at the boundary line. He picked up speed and just before I was at arms reach, I jumped into the air. Remaining in the air, he sprinted right underneath me and going straight out of bounds.

Going back to the ground, I turned around to see him completely off the stage. He was looking at me in shock, I just bowed my head to him as the end of the match was announced. "She used his speed against him! Imagine that Eraser, your strength being turned against you. What a cruel but brilliant scheme!" I raised an eyebrow, wondering how someone would be able to take away Aizawa's strength as his capture weapon allowed for the long ranged attacks he couldn't do with his predominantly close range combat style. Shaking the thought away, I began my walk back to 1-A's seating area.

Soon enough, I was back out on the tournament stage. Looking at Todoroki. He asked "You and Midoriya, you aren't close. Why is that?"

"We were treated differently." He nodded, the start was announced and I quickly moved him into the air, only giving him enough time to send out enough ice to just reach me. Letting out a breath at the close call, I looked up at Todoroki. Watching for signs of him using his fire like he had against Izuku.

That's when flames hurled my way, blocking him and becoming the target of my quirk. He landed on the floor and sent ice towards me. Quickly putting my focus to the ice I managed to send some of it back to him whilst making a wall in front of me.

Going high into the air to see over the wall off ice, I managed to avoid the fire he sent out to free himself.

With the fire giving my quirk something to push, I lost balance and started to fall. I attempted to catch myself but couldn't with the flames moving and my force shifting them further. I tried best positioning myself for a better landing but as soon as my feet touched the floor, my left ankle rolled badly and I fell over. I couldn't stop the cry that exited my mouth upon pain burning in my ankle.

I moved around so I could be sat up, looking down at my left ankle I couldn't bare the familiar throbbing pain. I heard footsteps come towards me "Midoriya, are you alright?" Feeling a hand come out towards me, I forced him away with my quirk and yelled "Don't touch me!"

"Eraser, where are you going?"

After what felt like ages I heard Aizawa near me "Midoriya, you're safe. We just need to get you onto this chair, okay?" Looking up at him, I nodded, whispering "It felt like..." He nodded "I know, but you're safe."

He helped hoist me up and into the chair. Wiping at my cheeks I said "I'm so sorry Mr Aizawa."

"What are you apologising for kid?"

Sniffling, I said "Wasting all the time you've spent training me."

"You haven't, and won't ever waste my time Midoriya. You did well today, so take it as an experience to learn from."

The chair I was sat on began to move and I looked down "I just cried in front of millions of people." I felt something on my shoulder and turned my head to see Aizawa's potted arm "It's only normal to cry, and your brother has cried much more for a lot less so don't worry yourself."
