Staring up at the blank ceiling, thinking back to the conversations I had with everyone since I woke up. Going over the Bakugo's offer a million times. I wanted to accept, be in a house that actually felt like home but each time I'd just think of mum, dad, and Izuku.
“You shouldn't worry for how others feel, and put yourself first.” I looked over to Aizawa's bed. He still had his eyes closed.
Sitting up slowly I scanned him from head to toe to see if I could recognise any movement from him but he was laid perfectly still. Scratching at the top of my head, I looked around, questioning “Am I hallucinating?” Hearing a scoff, I looked over in the direction to see Aizawa now looking at me. I blinked “How do you remain so still?”
“What medication have they got you on?”
“That's a bit private- Wait, are we pillow talking?” He quickly sat up and practically yelled “No.” He grunted as he turned his head to look at me “Have you lost your mind?” I shook my head “Nope, not to my knowledge.”
He let out a breath, then saying “You did well kid... I'm sorry I couldn't have-” I put my legs over the side of the bed so I would be facing him “Mr Aizawa, you don't need to apologise... You and Thirteen are the reason we all managed to live to see the other heroes arrive. You especially. You never stopped fighting.”
“Midoriya, I am the reason you couldn't defend yourself against Shigaraki and his quirk.” I shook my head “Mr Aizawa, you were trying to protect me, your goal wasn't for me to be hurt. Plus, he had someone placing him right where he wanted to be. Without for seeing what their next move would be, my injuries weren't preventable... The only way they would have been prevented was if I had listened to yours and Thirteens order of not engaging, but I couldn't have just sat and watched. I needed to try get that thing from on top of you. Give you as best chance as possible to give the class the best shot of surviving. None of us would have survived Shigaraki if it weren't for you.”
He just let out a breath. I looked around, thinking of all the people I'd seen today “No one's been to visit you?” Looking back to Aizawa he just hummed “That would track.” I raised an eyebrow before using my quirk to bring over the wheelchair from the other side of the room. Moving myself into it, I wheeled over to Aizawa's bed.
“Well, I'm visiting you!” He just looked at me and I smiled before looking around “Damn, I don't have anything with me... Wait!” I moved back around to my bed and grabbed the paper and pens Hanako had brought with her. Going back over to Aizawa's bed I leaned over to use my lap as a table.
“Shouldn't you be sleeping?” I nodded but stopped to look up at him “I can't sleep. So, I'm going to keep you company.” I looked back down to the paper in my lap. Folding it, I began to draw on the paper.
“I'm fine kid, go back to bed.” I looked at him again “Well, I'm fine here.” He rolled his eyes and laid back down “Fine, but don't expect me to talk.” I nodded and smiled “Okay Mr Aizawa!”

She chattered away as I just laid on the bed with my eyes closed.
“All done!” I peaked one eye open to see what she'd been up to all this time to see her placing a card down on the small table beside my bed. Under the dim lighting from it being night, I could make out the words 'You'll be feline better in no time' and underneath was an animated cat with a sling. However she then placed another card which had an animated cookie with the words 'You're a tough cookie' which then got slightly covered by a third card which just had some flowers drawn on it with the words 'Get well soon'. Looking to Midoriya, she looked to me and explained “I didn't know what you'd like. Plus, you should have one from every student of 1-A.”
Letting out a breath I said “You don't have to try and make me feel better Midoriya.”
“You shouldn't feel bad... Well, you probably should physically. I know I do.” I hummed. She then asked “Do you think about your past fights a lot?” Looking to her I shifted to be sat up slightly against my pillow. “Yeah... It comes with the job. Why do you ask?” She smiled slightly, a tad awkwardly as she looked away “It's why I can't sleep.” I nodded.
“That is completely normal Midoriya, not only did you go through a lot, you witnessed me and another hero be severely injured. We're people that are meant to symbolise security, your safety, and that was broken.” She nodded slightly. “Tell me, which part are you reliving the most?” She looked back to me and was silent for a while before saying “I think when the Nomu had hold of me and I weren't able to do anything... And when I went through the warp gate whilst in the air trying to hold the Nomu off of you. All that I did just felt pointless when it was able to smash you into the ground again.” I nodded.
“All that you did today was not in vain. It's a possibility that I am here talking to you right now due to your efforts. That, I thank you for... How did you manage to hold it and stay in the air?”
“I asked Uraraka to use her quirk on me, I didn't think I'd even be able to have any effect on it but I had to try.” Nodding again I said “That's apart of being a hero, not giving up, trying every last option... But being a hero, you also need to put yourself first, know when you're at your limit. We can't have heroes that just throw their lives away... So, what are you going to do about your living situation? Remain somewhere that you aren't comfortable or go somewhere that will make you happy. Think about yourself and what you need.”
