Friday finally rolled around, and Jiwon was buzzing with excitement. Her friends were deep into their latest group chat frenzy, debating over TikTok trends and the newest viral memes
At their usual café hangout, Eunji was showing off her latest finds from a thrift store, while Seoyeon was scrolling through her feed, giggling at a hilarious meme
“Check this out”
Seoyeon said, passing her phone around
“It’s this dog dressed as a burrito. How do people even come up with this stuff?”
Sumi, who was obsessively updating her playlist, added
“You know what’s more epic? The new K-pop collab that just dropped. I’m obsessed!”
Haeun, always with her sketchbook, was doodling characters based on their latest online obsessions
“We need to make our comic characters as cool as this. Like, imagine if they were influencers. How wild would that be?”
Jiwon was half-listening while checking her phone. She’d been chatting with DreamWeaver, her online friend, who had just sent a message about their upcoming chat
Her phone buzzed with a new message from DreamWeaver
"Hey, Night Owl! I’m excited to catch up later. Can’t wait to hear about what you’ve been up to this weekend!"
Jiwon typed back
"Same here! I’m going to an art exhibit later and then hanging out with my friends. I’ll update you soon!"

“Guys”
Jiwon said, trying to sound casual
“DreamWeaver messaged me. We’re catching up online later”
Eunji raised an eyebrow
“DreamWeaver? That sounds like a cool superhero name”
Seoyeon chuckled
“Or a mysterious secret agent. Online friends always have the best vibes”
Sumi grinned
“Well, at least you get to hang out with us. We can still have an epic weekend”
Haeun nodded
“Absolutely. Plus, we’ll be working on our comic strip. Maybe we’ll even add a cameo for DreamWeaver”
The group continued to chat and joke, making plans for a fun weekend. Jiwon felt her mood lift, grateful for her friends’ support and humor

Later that day, Jiwon met Yeonjun at the art exhibit. The gallery was filled with vibrant pieces and a relaxed crowd. Yeonjun greeted her with his usual easygoing smile
“Hey, Lee. Ready to dive into some more ‘highbrow art’?”
Jiwon laughed
“Absolutely. Let’s see what kind of art we can poke fun at today”
As they explored the gallery, their playful banter made the experience even more enjoyable. Yeonjun pointed to a particularly abstract piece
“This one looks like someone had a wild paint fight”
Jiwon grinned
“Or maybe it’s a visual representation of a chaotic Monday morning”
Their jokes continued as they moved through the exhibit, eventually heading to a nearby food stall for some tteokbokki. Between bites, Yeonjun showed off a video clip of a recent volleyball game
“Check this out. I nailed this serve"
Jiwon watched, impressed
“Wow, you’re like a one-person highlight reel”

Later that night, Jiwon was back at her friends’ café, sharing the day’s adventures
“Yeonjun was a blast today. We had a great time at the exhibit”
Eunji’s eyes sparkled
“Awesome! And how’s DreamWeaver? Still keeping up with the superhero vibes?”
Jiwon smiled
“I didn’t get to chat with him, but we’ll catch up later. In the meantime, we’ve got the best girls’ night planned”
As they wrapped up their evening, Jiwon felt a warm sense of contentment. Despite not chatting with DreamWeaver, she had a fantastic time with Yeonjun and was looking forward to the weekend with her friends. The day had turned out to be full of good vibes and unexpected fun
