The next morning, Jiwon found herself lying in bed, her thoughts a whirlwind of emotions. The kiss with Yeonjun the night before had been beautiful and magical, but now she was left grappling with a mix of excitement and uncertainty. She needed to talk to her friends to sort through her feelings
After a quick breakfast, Jiwon headed to the café where she had arranged to meet Eunji, Seoyeon, Sumi, and Haeun. The café was their usual spot—a cozy place with comfortable seating and an atmosphere perfect for heartfelt conversations. Jiwon arrived early, taking a seat at their usual table and ordering a large latte to calm her nerves
When her friends arrived, they could immediately tell something was on Jiwon’s mind. Eunji, always the perceptive one, was the first to ask
“Hey, Jiwon, you look a bit lost in thought. What’s up?”
Jiwon took a deep breath, trying to steady her voice
“I need to talk to you guys about something personal. It’s about Yeonjun”
Her friends exchanged curious glances and settled into their seats, their attention fully on Jiwon
“Go on”
Seoyeon encouraged, her eyes filled with concern
Jiwon hesitated for a moment, then began
“Last night, Yeonjun and I had a really special moment. We shared a kiss at the lakeside park. It was... incredible, but now I’m feeling kind of confused”
Sumi leaned in, her expression one of eager interest
“What do you mean by confused?”
Jiwon fidgeted with her coffee cup, her gaze fixed on the tabletop
“I’m not sure what I’m feeling exactly. The kiss was amazing, and I really care about Yeonjun. But part of me is still trying to understand what this means for us and how I truly feel”
Haeun placed a comforting hand on Jiwon’s
“It’s okay to feel confused. Sometimes, these moments can be overwhelming, especially when your feelings are deepening”
Eunji nodded in agreement
“It might help to talk about what you’re feeling. Have you had a chance to discuss your emotions with Yeonjun yet?”
Jiwon shook her head
“Not yet. I don’t want to rush into anything without fully understanding my own feelings first”
Seoyeon offered a thoughtful suggestion
“Maybe you could take some time to reflect on your feelings. Spend time with Yeonjun and see how things develop naturally. Sometimes, clarity comes with time and shared experiences”
Jiwon sighed, feeling a bit reassured by her friends’ advice
“That makes sense. I just want to make sure I’m honest with myself and with Yeonjun”
Sumi smiled warmly
“You’re doing the right thing by talking to us and seeking clarity. And remember, we’re here for you no matter what”
