In the weeks following Hana's apology, she had undergone a noticeable transformation. Surprisingly, Hana had shed her old ways, becoming kinder and more approachable. Her former "pretty group" had disbanded, and instead of a clique, they were now just a group of regular friends, free from the shallow judgments and gossip that once defined them. Y/N was relieved to see this change and was even more surprised when Hana invited her to hang out with them.
During lunch one day, Hana approached Y/N with a warm smile. "Hey, Y/N! Some of us are going out this weekend to the arcade. Wanna come with?"
Y/N blinked, caught off guard. This is still a bit weird, she thought but then nodded with a smile. "Yeah, sure! That sounds fun."
Hana grinned. "Great! It'll be fun. No judging anyone's high scores, I promise."
Y/N laughed. "Good, because my gaming skills are a disaster."
And, to her surprise, Y/N genuinely enjoyed her time with them. The group no longer whispered behind people's backs or acted superior-they were just a bunch of friends hanging out, laughing, and being themselves. It was a welcome change, and Y/N was glad Hana had turned over a new leaf.

As the school approached Sports Day, the third-year students were buzzing with preparation. Participation was mandatory, and it was their last chance to create some fun memories and beef up their certificates. For Y/N, however, this was not an exciting prospect. She was no fan of sports-except for volleyball, thanks to Konoha, but that was an entirely different story.
One afternoon, Y/N sat in class, her head resting lazily on her hand as her classmates enthusiastically discussed the sports they would participate in. She was lost in thought, daydreaming about anything but running when her name was called.
"Y/N!" The class monitor, Sasaki, grinned as he added her name to the list. "You're running in the 4x400 meter relay!"
Y/N snapped out of her daze, her eyes wide. "Wait, what?! Why am I-"
"It's already decided," Sasaki said cheerfully, ignoring her protest. "You're paired with Ayumi, Rika, and Keisuke. We needed one more, and you're it!"
Y/N groaned, slumping over her desk. Oh, great. This is how I die. She could already hear Konoha-Aki-teasing her mercilessly about this. He's going to be unbearable.

And she was right. When Konoha found out his girlfriend was going to participate in the 4x400 meter relay, he couldn't stop laughing. "Y-You? Running? Oh man, this is going to be amazing!"
Y/N glared at him, crossing her arms. "Shut up! It's not like I volunteered for this."
Konoha, still laughing, leaned against the wall for support. "I can already see it. You, puffing and panting at the finish line. Should I bring a stretcher just in case?"
"Do you want me to trip and fall in front of everyone?!" Y/N shot back, jabbing a finger into his chest. "Because I will!"
The volleyball team was nearby, watching the two of them bicker like usual. Bokuto grinned at Akaashi. "They're like an old married couple, aren't they?"
"More like a wrestling match," Akaashi commented dryly, though a small smile tugged at his lips.
After their playful back-and-forth, Konoha finally slumped over Y/N's shoulders, wrapping his arms around her in a loose hug. "Don't worry, Y/N," he whispered into her ear, "I'll be there cheering for you. And yes, I'll tease you the entire time, but I'll cheer for you too."
