With the Sports Day looming, Konoha took it upon himself to whip Y/N into shape. Every day after school, they jogged through the neighborhood, and sometimes Konoha would challenge her to a race. Of course, she knew how these races would end-Konoha was practically born running. Still, Y/N couldn't resist his teasing grin as he darted ahead.
"Last one to that corner buys ramen!" Konoha shouted mid-run, effortlessly pulling ahead.
Y/N huffed, trying her best to keep up. "You're a literal volleyball player, Aki! This is so unfair!"
But Konoha wasn't listening-he was already at the corner, turning around with a smug expression as Y/N jogged in behind him, breathless and glaring.
"Guess who's buying me ramen?" he teased, poking her side.
Y/N, still catching her breath, scowled. "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up. But next time, I'm picking the challenge!"
"Sure thing," Konoha replied, smirking. "As long as that challenge is not running."

After their exhausting practice, they stopped by their favorite ramen shop. The warm, savory aroma instantly lifted Y/N's spirits as they took their usual spot by the counter. As they waited for their food, Konoha-unsurprisingly-continued his relentless teasing.
"You know," he said, leaning back with that familiar grin, "I think you were running slower today on purpose. Did you just want an excuse to buy me ramen?"
Y/N shot him a playful glare. "Or maybe I was just saving my energy so I wouldn't collapse from all this torture you're putting me through."
The shop owner, overhearing their conversation, chuckled as he served them. "You two always seem to be having fun," he said, setting down a plate of extra meat. "This one's on the house. You make a cute couple."
Y/N's face flushed instantly. "W-We're-" she stammered, waving her hands.
Konoha, on the other hand, just grinned wider. "Thanks, old man! She can't keep her hands off me, you know."
Y/N kicked him under the table, making him yelp, but she couldn't help laughing too. "You wish," she muttered, before digging into her ramen.

A few days later, Konoha convinced Y/N to join the volleyball team's conditioning session. He claimed it would "help her stamina," but Y/N quickly realized it was just another excuse to drag her along and tease her mercilessly in front of his friends.
"Are you ready for the real workout, Y/N?" Konoha asked, grinning as the team gathered at the track.
Y/N rolled her eyes. "I'm already sore from running with you all week. I swear, I've aged a decade."
Bokuto, overhearing, laughed loudly. "Y/N, if you survive this, you'll be a legend! A true athlete, like Konoha."
Y/N stared at Bokuto with wide eyes. "Bokuto, if you keep talking like that, I might just pass out from exhaustion."
The team laughed as they began running laps, Y/N doing her best to keep up despite her legs feeling like they were made of lead. Konoha, of course, ran effortlessly beside her, offering teasing comments every few steps.
"Come on, Y/N. You're not even breaking a sweat yet," he teased.
"I will punch you," Y/N panted, glaring at him.
Just as she said that, Y/N's foot caught on a stone, and she stumbled forward, flailing her arms in an attempt to regain balance. Luckily, she managed to avoid face-planting, but her near-fall made everyone stop in their tracks.
"Whoa, you okay?" Konoha asked, concern replacing his teasing for once as he rushed over to help her.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Y/N muttered, embarrassed. "Just... tripped."
Konoha let out a relieved sigh. "Maybe I'm pushing you too hard. I didn't mean for this to turn into an obstacle course."
Y/N chuckled softly, giving him a reassuring smile. "It's fine. I'm just clumsy. But... maybe we can call it a day?"
Konoha grinned, leaning down to hug her. "Yeah, I think you've earned it."

After practice, Y/N could barely drag herself home. Every muscle in her body ached, and her legs felt like they were made of jelly. Konoha walked beside her, watching her slow, tired steps with a raised eyebrow.
"You're moving like a zombie," he said, chuckling as she shuffled forward.
"I feel like a zombie," Y/N groaned. "I think my body is going to give up halfway home."
Konoha shook his head, amused. Then, without warning, he crouched down in front of her, patting his back. "Hop on."
Y/N blinked in surprise. "Wait, what?"
"You're obviously about to collapse," Konoha said matter-of-factly. "Come on, I'll carry you. You're not heavy or anything."
Her face flushed. "But... but I am! You've been running all day too. I'm not going to make you-"
"Just get on, Y/N," he interrupted, turning his head slightly to give her an encouraging smile. "I'm not going to let you crawl home."
With a sigh, Y/N finally gave in, climbing onto his back and wrapping her arms around his shoulders. Konoha stood up easily, adjusting her weight as he started walking.
"This is so embarrassing," Y/N muttered, her cheeks still warm.
"Embarrassing?" Konoha teased, glancing over his shoulder. "I'm the one doing all the work here. You're just getting a free ride."
Y/N huffed. "I feel like I've lost, like, ten pounds from all this running."
Konoha grinned. "Yeah, maybe. But you're still kinda heavy."
"Excuse me?!" Y/N's eyes widened as she slapped the back of his head. "I have lost weight!"
"Sure, sure," he laughed, clearly enjoying getting a rise out of her. "It's all those extra bowls of ramen we've been eating."
"You're such a jerk," Y/N grumbled, though there was no real heat behind her words.
She tightened her grip around his neck, pretending to strangle him as payback. "How about I help you lose some weight then?"
"Okay, okay! I take it back!" Konoha gasped dramatically, laughing through his mock struggle. "You're the lightest person I've ever carried! A feather!"
"That's more like it," Y/N said smugly, loosening her grip as they continued down the road. "Honestly, how do you always have so much energy?"
Konoha shrugged, still grinning. "It's all in the training. You'll get used to it too. Maybe."
"Maybe?" Y/N raised an eyebrow. "I feel like I'm going to need a vacation after this."
"Yeah, but just think," Konoha said, looking back at her again with a playful glint in his eyes. "When we win on Sports Day, it'll all be worth it. Plus, you get to brag about running in front of the whole school. Doesn't that sound fun?"
"Fun," Y/N echoed flatly. "Yeah, that's totally how I'd describe it."
They bickered all the way home, Y/N playfully threatening to "strangle" Konoha again if he didn't stop teasing her. But despite the exhaustion and the teasing, she couldn't help but smile as they walked, knowing that with Konoha by her side, even the most exhausting days were somehow still fun.
