Believer :: 3Below Reader Insert

(RESURRECTS FROM THE GRAVE OF MY DEE X READER FIC) Happy new years, guys. hEhehehehEHEH. 2025 WE ARE STILL KICKING SOME HOW.

Before we begin I want to clarify some key details and important factors of this fic.

This used to be an FEM OC x Cannon but I edited it to be a reader insert. BECAUSE I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH.

This would be the part where I'd say "if you see any spelling or grammar mistakes, please let me know!!!" But I am a very skilled and awesome writer so if you see any mistakes in spelling or grammar, you actually did not (just joking please do let me know)

This will be a very long fic. Trust me, I am certain that by chapter 3 I'm going to need to cut it and all of the chapters after into two parters. AND I'M NOT EVEN DONE WITH THE OC VERSION OF THIS FIC. So this might be a work in progress for a while. I will have breaks that might or might not expand over a course of a few weeks or a few months, who knowssss. But I'm DETERMINED to get FURTHER  than how far my Dee x Reader got.

Other information:

- I SUCK AT FIXING MY STORY TO BE READER FRIENDLY. So if you see any descriptions that are not supposed to be there, like say the hair being described as black and short or the skin being a color being something it's not supposed to be, again, no you did not IGNORE THEM (don't actually please let me know so I can fix it asap 🙏) P.S: there is a section about reader owning an old beanie. While it isn't written (or that I hope it isn't) that the reader wears the beanie or not, it's important for LORE reasons. So you own an old beanie.

-In this story you are considered the weird kid in Arcadia for your interest in aliens, conspiracy theories, your dad, and other things. You are close with Eli and you and Steve have a playful mutual picking act. Like Buford and Baljeet from Phineas and Ferb if you will. You do have some actual picking problems though, but they are not the main focus of the story.

- YOU HAVE A DAD IN THIS!!! (Confetti🎉) okay but not really, you're technically an orphan. You have an adopted dad. IT'S STUART! You just call him Stuart but he calls you his daughter, do as you will with that. This adds some elements to the reader including, but not limited to: inability to smell things (your poor sniffer is busted after smelling Stuart's stench for so long), a peculiar, but not gross odor, a job at the Taco truck and the Electronic Store, and basic knowledge of alien life and its technology.

-You and Stuart live in an apartment that's connected to the back of Stuart's Electronic Store. I know that's technically not canon, but I feel like it fits the story a whole lot. The apartment is small, like a bigger hotel room with a bedroom that used to belong to Stuart but now belongs to you (decorated however you wish since it's never described), a bathroom, a small kitchen and a small living room, a coat closet and a TV. Just so you know whenever they enter the store and then are suddenly in their house.

-While there is not any romance right off the bat, if you look at the description, this is a slow burn, Krel x fem reader. Krel is the end game partner... even though sometimes it doesn't feel like it BUT YOU'LL FIGURE THAT OUT THE MORE YOU READ. ALSO, there is some development in relationships with other characters like Aja, Jim Lake Jr, And a few others. So maybe keep a look out for those. This isn't JUST a romance fic

-OC's are used, but they are all as side characters. They are not at all there to replace the reader! You also have Karate classes, because you need to be able to defend yourself just a little bit!

I HOPE THIS ISNT TOO MUCH OF A BARRIER FOR READERS I DID MY BEST TO MAKE IT INCLUSIVE AS POSSIBLE. OKAY LETS GO.
