A mysterious and menacing bird like figure stood the ledge of a crater that littered the surface of the moon, staring down at the planet Earth silently. She holds up her communication device to the side of her head, waiting to get a signal.
Intercepting Signal.
A connection located at the very coast of the continent of North America, targeting somewhere within a place called Arcadia, California and the figure could hear the voices of fellow bounty hunters. The Zeron Brotherhood.
"That child might have stolen our subspace manifold, but if he thinks I can't find a workaround..." Omega's voice spoke before getting stopped by Alpha.
"-How long do you need?"
"-A few delsons."
A holographic image of the small town of Arcadia Oaks appears on the screen, showing the location of where the Akiridion Royals were hiding at. "The royals may have bought themselves more time, but they won't be safe in their backwater town of Arcadia for long." Alpha says scornfully.
The screen changes into an image of their high school, giving the figure a plan of attack. "And now, I, Halcon, agree." The figure, Halcon, croaks villainously.Varvatos chuckles as he and Aja sparred within the Cockpit of the Mothership, Aja stepping back, away from Varvatos who was slowly approaching closer towards her with his Serrator activated into a double ended spear. Aja took her Serrator out as well and activated it into a spear as well, although much smaller than Varvatos's mighty one. Aja swings and spins her blue spear around, doing fancy tricks before holding it right Infront of her. Varvatos grinned before launching himself towards her with a yell. Aja swiftly got away by jumping over him. Varvatos swung his Serrator towards Aja, which she dodged and blocked the best she could making her step back at the force. She gasped as she almost fell off their small arena. Varvatos laughed, pointing his Serrator on Aja's. "Glorious! " He yelled with a cackle. "Your first day of warrior training and you haven't met a grisly death!"
"You're trying to kill me?!" Aja gasped out, looking up at Varvatos with wide eyes. "If Varvatos were really trying, you would be dead!" Varvatos answered bluntly, striking his weapon forward again as Aja groans and hops out of the way. She lands on his back before leaping off before Varvatos could grab her with a graceful flip. "For Varvatos always wins!"
When Aja lands she lunges to the side to avoid the powerful swings that followed from the Commader. "Attack! Do not merely evade!" He informs in the mist of their training.
Aja pushes her spear against his, trying to reflect his attack. "I'm waiting for an opening." She explains with a straining voice. "I don't want to—" She was cut short when Varvatos swiftly kicks her down, making her drop to the ground and off the edge of the arena. She grabs onto the ledge with one hand, hanging off the side of the platform. "-to get... hurt." She finished with a croak of pain.
Varvatos helped Aja back to her feet. "Getting hurt is inevitable for a warrior, but it is the fear of injury that will get you killed." He says gruffly. Aja places her hand on her torso, still feeling the ache of pain from his hit. "Ugh, what did you just do?" She grunted with a wince. Varvatos was quick to answer. "Earthlings call it a toe kick." He replied, demonstrating the attack move again into the air. "Varvatos is a glorious warrior and executes it perfectly!"
While Varvatos was busy explaining the move he had learned, Aja decided to take the time to suprise attack him from behind. "Who needs to kick with toes when you have a serrator?" She asks quickly before charging forward with her serrator. She jumps at him and was about to strike when Varvatos whipped around and easily kicked her away again with another toe kick. Aja falls to the ground, growling to herself. "Not fair..."
Varvatos chuckles triumphantly as he holds up his spear and readies to strike at her again. Aja was still on the ground and had no time to get up so she held out her hands and yelled. "No, no, NO!""Gently, gently."
At Stuart's electronic shop, Krel carefully and slowly pulled out the capsule of glowing plutonium from its display. The Akiridion King-in-Waiting in disguise held it from both ends, cautious with every movement he made while Stuart was speaking softly to make sure he was doing it right. "Easy. Gently. Easy."
"Easy!" Dad-blank suddenly jumped out with a big smile making the two gasp with suprise. "Make life easy, even when you're feeling-"
"Quiet, both of you!" Krel ordered with annoyance. "I am just trying to get the plutonium fuel cell for the Daxial Array, not disarm a bomb." He placed the Plutonium into a thick briefcase, shutting it closed and picking it up.
From the locked door that was at the very back of the store, a persistent knocking was heard. "Can I come out now?" The muffled voice of (y/n) asked, who was locked out while Stuart and Krel relocated the plutonium. Stuart chuckled sheepishly, rushing over to unblocked the door and allow (y/n) to enter. "Sorry Starlight, just had to make sure you stayed safe." Stuart says with a snort. "We are done here, right?"
Krel shoved the briefcase into dad-blanks arms. "Yes, yes, we are done. I got the Plutonium fuel cell that we needed."
"I told you Stuart has plutonium, he practically has the stuff lying around everywhere." (y/n) says with a chuckle. Stuart frowned. "Hey! I'll have you know I had to trade a physicist in Tijuana 200 crestons for this!" He interrupted, nudging (y/n) lightly. Krel picked up the Daxial Array manual and began to walk toward the exit with dad-blank behind him as Stuart continued. "Promised to cater his niece's quinceañera."
(y/n) waved as Krel left. "See you tomorrow at school, Krel. And tell Aja I said hi." She called out, making the Akiridion nod back to her. "As the humans say, have a goodnight (y/n)." He says back before walking out the doors.
(y/n) sighed softly, resting her chin her her hand. Stuart chuckled, looking to (y/n) next to him. "Charming, isn't he?"
"Yeah... Wait!" (y/n) gasped, realizing what she said. Stuart bursted out laughing hunching over the counter as (y/n) punched his lightly on the shoulder. "Shut up, stink man!" She hissed, but started to giggle with him shortly after.
"Okay okay, go to bed missy. You have martial art training tomorrow."
