At the outdoor theater, in the dead of night, the Zerons stood out in the middle of the pavement. A cemetery of cars surrounded them with their ship landed behind an old torn down board as always. Zeron Alpha and Zeron Omega stood solemnly by each other, as Omega pulled out a device that created a holographic replica of their fallen brother; Zeron Beta. The feline like Zeron's glowing orange form laid on the ground motionless, arms crossed over his chest as the two remaining bounty hunters watched in solemn silent as the hologram of their dead kin rises into the air, his figure bright against the dark and starless night sky.
"You fought with valor, brother." Alpha spoke lowly with a steady voice, watching the fallen Zeron reach a point in the air before pulling out his weapon. Alpha aimed his orange glowing serrator into the sky, and fired at the hologram of Beta. The ionic bullet cleaves through the air smoothly, colliding with the hologram and creating a burst of beautiful orange light to explode in the sky, like a ring of fire that shimmered the brightened the place for a moment before disappearing.
Omega took off her mask, staring up at the sky where the lights dissipate leaving the sky and their hideout dark once again. The glow of her menacing narrowed yellow eyes showed the swirling emotions that neither she or Alpha display on her faces. Looks of melancholy, respect, and anger. "And your death will not be in vain." Omega swore.
"In due time..." Alpha began, walking by Omega's side as they returned to the dreadnought ship. Looks of malicious planning and intentions fill their eyes and a determined step in their strides.* "...we will have our revenge." He declared. The Akiridion royals will feel their pain. Because they are not going to let this slide. They will pay for this. They will remind the royals who they are dealing with, and show them what it means to have something truly torn away from them.

And what better way to do so than by taking away their little human pet.

"...According to legend, that flying saucer resides 300 miles away at Area 49-B Military Base," Eli states to the classroom with (y/n) right by his side with a confident smile on her face. Her work, a model of an accurate ufo saucer, was used for her team project with Eli about the story of when an alien— Extraterrestrial crashed onto Earth. This was something she believed would have completely knocked everyone's socks off. Then again, (y/n) thinks a lot of her projects will knock people's socks off. But just like all those times before, it didn't. These kids have no real interest in anything that happens in school do they? Ugh. "The government's top-secret facility for extraterrestrial research." Eli finished, placing back down the saucer model carefully with (y/n) nodding to the nerdy kid with a smile. An excellent demonstration of proper projection presentation. From behind the classroom, the only two students that were either asleep in their desks or daydreaming or playing on their phones underneath their desks was Aja and Krel. Peering at the front of the classroom at Eli and (y/n) curiously.
"And that is our presentation, thank you, thank you." (y/n) concluded with a small bow to the uninterested classroom.
Eli and (y/n) look over to their substitute, Señor Uhl, for their feedback and final grade. The man seemed to be... present for their presentation. To say the least. The tall interim principal leaned back on the desk of the classroom with a look of relief that they were finished. "Fascinating, Mr Pepperjack and Ms. (y/n). Really A plus work there."
"Really?!" (y/n) smiled brightly at Señor Uhl's words. She looked over at Eli who shared her excitement and the two high-fived each other proudly. She knew this would be a good thing to do in place of their scraped idea. "Yay!" Eli cheered. "Thank you, Señor Uhl."
"In creative writing." Uhl continued, which made both of the students immediately deflate. Of course. It was too good to be true. "Unfortunately, this is a physics class, and even as your substitute teacher, I know this deserves the F." Señor Uhl decided, marking a giant F with his marker on Eva's literal pride and joy.
(y/n) looked at Señor Uhl with widen eyes and a hung open jaw. Like, why get their hopes up only to crash them down all the way to rock bottom? "But Señor Uhl-"
"F." Uhl repeated himself for firmly. Eli let out a small groan of disappointment, as a paper airplane flies across the classroom and Señor Uhl tells them to clean up their mess. No need to rub salt into the wound, (y/n) thought to herself as she grabbed their presentation and yanked it off the table with a frown, dropping the ufo model into the cardboard box it came in with. They didn't deserve to know about this story anyways. If they didn't believe it, fine. "This place is ridiculous..." She muttered.
In the back of the class room, Krel and Aja put their heads together with hushed voices. "What if the Pepperjack is right?" Aja wondered out loud, her curiousity getting the better of her. In his hands Krel messed around with the jar from yesterdays adventure with a huff.
"Come on, it's just something he read on the internet. The internet is full of nonsense... and cats playing pianos." Krel dismissed the idea, not wanting to believe for one moment that whatever spews out of Eli's mouth was the truth. Not after the whole Billycraggle mishap in the woods a few weeks ago. Aja kept her arms crossed in front of her, staying firm on her thought and trying to get Krel to see it from her perspective.
"But we only need one final part to complete the Daxial Array." Aja pointed out, looking over to her disguised brother who was struggling to open the lid of the jar with his thin and artificial human arms. Aja reached over and took it out of Krel's arms and with ease twisted and pulled the top off the glass jar without breaking eye contact or losing focus on their conversation. "Correct?"
"Yes, the osmic circuit." Krel confirmed, taking back the meddled with jar from his sister.
Their conversation was cut short when Eli had began to make a scene in front of the classroom. "I should have known you'd try to silence me!" Eli exclaimed, which only served to make him look more like a foolish dweeb. "You work for the government!"
"Eli, nobody is trying to silence you. You're only making everyone want to silence you." (y/n) spoke out with a shake of her head, holding the spacecraft model in the box in her arm as the room erupted with chatter, laughter, and utter chaos as she and Eli drag their feet to their seats with defeat. Which allowed a veil to be put over the Akiridion twins conversation without anyone else overhearing it. "Then we can steal its osmic circuit." Aja whispered to Krel, her suggestion actually not too bad when thought on.
"It's a conspiracy that goes all the way to the top!" Eli declared, making (y/n) shuffle away from the boy she called her friend with acute awareness of how he sounded. Like a lunatic. God, is that what she sounded like to everyone too? "The top, I tell you!" He tried to continue only to trip over his own feet and collapse to the floor. Nobody was listening to him because they were all too busy cackling and laughing with amusement.
Krel looked away as Eli got up slowly, fixing his giant glasses on his face as he slumped into his seat at his desk. "Okay, so maybe someone else..." His gaze moved away and towards the human girl that they called their friend.
(y/n) fell into his seat, placing the box containing her ufo model- onto her desk with her with a small pout. She pulled out her phone and began to type onto it with a slight nervous jitter in her fingers, as she opened her messaging app and frantically clicked on letters to sent a text to Mary.
