A new morning reaches Arcadia, but the sunlight doesn't reach inside of the Tarrons mothership. Stuart gasped as he woke up tied to a chair with a blinding light on top of him.
He panted as he tried to break free of the ropes. "Oh, come on." He groaned, bouncing up and down as he tried to break free.
He gasped as he heard something run behind him, he frantically looked around. "Hello? Is anyone there?" He asked trying to find where that sort of noise was coming from.
"This isn't the least bit funny!" He said in a nervous tone. "EEK!"He screeched when someone stop in front of him, revealing a blank robot disguised as a father. The dad-blank took a very long sip of coffee from his mug. When he finished he released a satisfied 'ah' with a smile before scowling again, marching up to Stuart.
"Okay, mug. We're only gonna do this once." Dad-blank stated firmly. He turned on the stove next to him to high and slammed his fist onto the burning hot surface. "Are you ready to talk?" The heat made the blanks hand spark mechanically, making Stuart mumble incoherently. Dad-blank slammed his fist on to counter. "Quit your jitterbugging, you gas house palooka! We either do this he hard way—"
"Or the very hard way!" The mom-blank zipped in front of him, popping her neck with a loud crack from her circuits.
The mom-blank slammed her hand onto the hot stove top as well, making Stuart even more nervous. "No one messes with our children without messing with us first! So what'll it be?!" Mom-blank took a flashlight and shined it into Stuart's face. Stuart laughed nervously. "Before I answer that, um—!""Stand aside, you glorified washing machines!" Varvatos boomed, making both blanks turn around suprised. "And leave the torture to a professional!" The blank robots turn off the hot stove and scurry out quickly, laughing nervously.
"That was fun!" Mom-blank says
"Gotta jet!" Dad-blank adds. They run out of the kitchen leaving poor Stuart at the mercy of Commander Vex.
"Taco merchant, you will tell us why you were spying on Varvatos' charges, or Varvatos will feed you your eyes!" Varvatos threatens. From behind him, Krel and Aja eye Stuart suspiciously.
Stuart squirmed nervously. "I—I told you—!"
Varvatos slams his fist on the table with great fury "And hang you from a noose made of your own intestines!" He adds.
"That's a colorful threat, isn't it?"
Aja then spoke up. "We should never have taken him back home with us." She says. Then the pungent smell from Stuart hits her and Krel's nose. Aja immediately turns away, pinching her nose to block out the smell. Krel looks like he's about to hurl. "Ugh! What is that horrendous stench?"
"Must be the smell of fear, as Varvatos was about to introduce this menace to the art of torture!" Varvatos exclaims, leaning closer to Stuart with harmful intent.
"Please, don't! I- I have a daughter waiting for me! A beautiful one at that- she'd miss me!" Stuart begged with pleading eyes. Krel and Aja crossed their arms, not fully believing that this stinky alien had any children. Let alone a 'beautiful' one that is also here on Earth with him. Varvatos however leaned closer when Stuart mentioned this daughter of his with malicious intent.
"Good to know. I'll be after her next!" Varvatos grins.
"You don't have to torture me or anyone at all! I come in peace! And all that jazz." Stuart laughs breathlessly, it coming out a a wheeze to cover up his fear. Varvatos growls, getting up and standing beside him.
Krel looked at him new found curiosity. "Jazz? Now you have my interest." He says with a smirk.
Stuart now feels less in danger now that Varvatos wasn't directly threatening him. "The name is Stuart. I'm a huge fan! I'm a— I'm a huge fan—"
"A fan? You create wind?" Krel raised a brow, not completely understanding what Stuart meant. He thought that Stuart was being literal, and that Stuart actually thought he was a machine that blows air.
"Only after one or two burritos." Stuart joked, snorting in laughter. "Seriously, I follow all the great royal houses of the galaxy, but House Tarron of Akiridion-5? O-M-Gorbon! I mean, pure class!" He yammered on. Stuart talked without a care in the world of being kidnapped, admiring the royalty right Infront of him. "Princess Aja, You're like the coolest, bravest, most butt-kickingest teenager in this side of the known Universe!"
Aja looked at the Stuart before looking at
Krel awkwardly.
"And Prince Krel, tech-wizz extraordinare!" Krel smiled awkwardly at the comment, thinking if he should take it as a compliment or not, especially coming from someone they don't know.
"I wanna be like you when I mentally grow up." The Stuart laughed, Aja stared at him with an indifferent expression. "I am now King-in-waiting." Krel corrected with pride, raising his finger.
"I can't believe i'm in the royal kitchen! So uhh, heh, what are you doing here?" Stuart asked, not completely understanding why the Akiridion royals were doing on Earth of all places.
Krel suddenly became serious. "General Morando lead a coup, and we were forced to flee for our lives!" He explained glumly, making Aja rub her arms in sorrow.
"We're supposed to be asking him the questions!" Varvatos yelled impatiently, grabbing the chair Stuart was tied to and pulled it back with great force. Luug barked at Stuart, almost like he was agreeing with Varvatos.
Stuart connected the dots to the situation. "Royals in exile! Of course!" Stuart says. "Everything makes much more sense now." He wiggles himself out of Varvatos' hold, trying to get closer to the twins. "If it makes you feel any better, I didn't choose to come here either." Stuart tried to console them, bouncing the chair closer to Aja and Krel. However, he toppled over the chair and falls flat onto the ground. "Crash landed, actually—" Luug approched Stuart, leaning towards Stuart and getting saliva all over him.
Stuart got lifted back up by Varvatos after he got Luug's drool all over his face. "—Originally, I'm from Durio."
"The stinkiest planet in the universe." Aja made the connection, fanning her hand in front of her nose.
The only person who seemed unfazed by the smell, sort of, was Varvatos. "That would explain the malodorous odor." He said, looking down at Stuart.
Krel leaned away from the alien. "Ugh, I thought it was a Luug fart!" Krel commented.
Stuart seemed a little offended by the comment. "Hey, I'm very sensitive about that. But trust me, you're gonna love Earth! Yeah!" Stuart smiled again, thinking of all the things good about the planet. "You got cheese fries and monster truck rallies and, oh, flash mobs!"
"I want all of it!" Aja beamed, getting excited by Stuart's description of Earth.
"Enough prattle!" Varvatos roared, slamming his fist down again making Stuart wince. Varvatos grabbed Staurt by the neck and lifted him from the ground. "Prepare for agony!"
