Three weeks ago...

Eli casually rode his bicycle through the town of Arcadia Oaks, throwing the daily news of the Arcadian Ledger in front of each door of every house he passes by. Early in the morning at dawn before school started with the cold air breezing past his face as he pedaled. But when he looked up at the sky, he saw something completely jaw dropping that it made him gasp with disbelief. A flying blue comet blazing across the sky.
He continued watching it fall to the Earths surface only to hit a fire hydrant he failed to notice he was heading straight for. His front wheel gets caught, flinging Eli off his seat with a shout and fall face first into the pavement.

Meanwhile, the Akiridion Royal mothership hurled towards the earth, screaming from the Akiridion Royals and their guardian fill the place as they spiral out of control. "HOLD ON!" Varvatos shouts as the King and Queen in Waiting cling onto whatever they can. Within the guts of the mothership, the destroyed Daxial Array room builds up electrical power and finally explodes, sending a rod of Akiridion tech flying out of the mothership. It falls into the woods and embedded itself into the dirt as the mothership crashes somewhere else. The rod of Akiridion tech has been sitting there untouched since then, days and nights going by with it noticed.

Until tonight...

Heavy and hard stomps echo through the woods, making nearby birds fly away and trees rustle by. A giant red troll with huge black horns and a smushed in nose ran away from a group of young teens while cackling. Pushing through foliage and jumping over roots. He grabs onto a tree and without any problem tore it out from the ground and used troll magic to engulf it in flames. The troll chucked it back before continuing to run. "Just once, I'd like a Troll to visit Arcadia for another reason than destroying the world!" A troll hunter named James Lake Jr said annoyed while driving his Vespa with another teen named Claire Nuñez, speeding after the troll to catch it. Beside them was a more friendlier troll galloping beside them named AAARRRGGHH. Literally. That's his name. On top of AAARRRGGHH was a shorter and more plump boy named Tobias Domzalski.
"Take it up with the tourism board, Jimbo!" Toby shouts over to Jim over the sound of the trolls loud and rumbling stomps.
Falling behind with stumpy legs, four arms and six eyes is a another friendly and equally big troll named Blinkous Galadrigal, his nose buried in a small but thick book reading off the pages. "According to the Venerable Bedehilde, Porgon is a trickster troll causing chaos and trouble." Blinky informs.
"With a name like Porgon, can you blame him?" Toby asks with a grin, holding his huge war hammer in his offhand while the other held onto the mossy hair of AAARRRGGHH.
The Porgon lets out a laugh as he kept on throwing things at the Troll Hunters. Claire uses her shadow staff to make the huge flaming tree disappear before it could hit them. "Nice one!" Jim praised.
"Dabbling in Magic, Trickster Trolls herald discord and disorder, to both Human and troll kind alike-" Blinky continued reading unaware of his surroundings. "Incoming!" Toby yelled, making Blinky look up to see the flaming obstacle being hurled in his direction. He gasped and tripped on a rock as he dodges the incoming hazard. The book Blinky was holding flew out of his hands and at Toby's head making him lose balance. AAARRRGGHH catches his wingman by catching Toby in his arms and rolling forward. Jim and Claire looked at the chaos that was happening behind them as the Vespa hits something making Jim lose control of it and panic and shout before falling off. So, not the best group of troll hunters.
Porgon laughs mockingly at the destruction behind him not looking at where he was going. When he suddenly tripped over something. Porgon fell to the ground and onto his rear. With a grunt he peered around to see the cause of his slip up. "Huh?" His red eyes widen to see the Akiridion rod glowing in the dark a vibrant and brilliant neon blue. "Shiny!" Porgon smiled, crawling closer to it and grabbing it in his giant hands to examine it closer.
Porgon looks up curiously as Jim jumps over the foliage in his Troll hunting armor and his sword ready to take down the troll, his breaths heavy as he aims his blade at Porgon. Blinky stands beside Jim, suddenly aware of the rod in the giant trolls hand. "Shiny thing..." He holds it up with intrigue. The Akiridion rod began to glow and vibrate as Porgon mixed his troll magic with it, a field of blue electricity growing stronger and convulsing more frequently. "Uh-oh!"
Jim and Blinky exclaim, having a good guess as to what was next and ducked. Jim held up his shield to protect himself as Porgon began to change shape and glow blue with a series of grunts and groans before complete dissipating into thin air.
Once he vanished, Toby and Claire finally appeared, ready to fight only to be met with an empty clearing where Porgon was supposed to be. Jim looked around with utter confusion. "Well, that Porgon guy sure knows how to make an exit." Toby spoke breathlessly. Jim looked around, trying to understand what just happened. "Where did he go?" Jim questioned, puzzled. "He just... vanished."
Blinky stepped forward, deciding to offer some suggestions. "Perhaps the trickster caused a disturbance in the continuum..." Blinky says, standing next to Jim...
