A/N: This only counts as a half chapter since it's short and can be skipped if you want. However this does hold some small slivers of reader's lore and some fluff of reader, Aja, and Krel experiencing nostalgia... before all hell breaks loose. (I'm kidding... sorta-)

"Not a warrior, huh?" Aja asked, following (y/n) into Stuart's electronic shop with Krel as well. It was the night that they promised to spend over at (y/n)'s and Stuart's place. They needed a break from all the action and tiresome training that a night where they could just talk freely with someone else other than each other sounded promising. Especially after what went down yesterday night. A day has passed already after the fight with Halcon and they still were speaking about it. "Don't act like you didn't just leap into that fight without another thought for yourself. You showed the most key attributes of a perfect Akiridion soldier." Aja continued as (y/n) shook her head to stifle a bashful chuckle and put down her bag with Krel's and Aja's. "I wasn't even able to keep her down for longer than a second. I'm not an Akiridion soldier, I'm a human." (y/n) reminded.
"You still protected me and Krel. Your Karat-aye really paid off!" Aja assured. "And you did more damage than I did, and that's saying a lot." Krel added with a chuckle. (y/n) rolled her eyes, but felt her heart swelling with pride from their words.
(y/n) opened the door that lead into Stuart and (y/n)'s apartment. "And here we are, home sweet home!"
It was really just one medium sized room with a stand up T.V and raggedy recliner couch, a tacky rug, a small kitchen area with a fridge and freezer, stove, sink, small countertop with a microwave and a three doors that lead into a tiny coat closet that was brimming with boxes, a bathroom and a bedroom. "Make yourself comfortable!" (y/n) announced with pride. Aja and Krel share a confused look before shrugging their shoulders with content.

Krel was exploring what he could find and access while Aja and (y/n) sat on the couch chatting. The walls were covered with photographs and some hand drawing that dated a while back. The place didn't have a terrible smell unlike what someone would expect from a place Stuart would live in, but the copious amount of plugin air fresheners and scented candles were probably the reason behind that. The rug in the center of the place was a bit crusty with strange colors that don't seem to match and hard to decipher patterns that designed the entire thing, and the T.V was hung up on the ceiling but backed any cable. A strange door was on the ceiling that either lead to an attic or the roof but they weren't going to see which it was, not today anyways. And finally the whole place seemed to have been cleaned up in a big rush. (y/n) must have told Stuart about Aja and Krel's plan on sleeping over and the guy probably went on a cleaning frenzy to make sure the place was presentable enough for them. Which would also explain the candles and air fresheners as well. Speaking of Stuart, (y/n) assured that he was fine with them staying over for the night and wouldn't be coming back until late evening anyways. Apparently there was a big food truck rush tonight and he was going to be cooking up a storm the whole night. Stuart also said they won't even notice him come back. But something told all of them that with his smell, that was going to be a lie.

Aja was showing the human the new student ID cards they got that day with pride, comparing it to each others. "How come you look so much better in your picture?" (y/n) complained halfheartedly making the Queen-in-waiting giggle. Her eyes began to glow, showing that their human transductions were wearing off. (y/n) smiled at the Akiridion's eyes and watched as Aja and Krel shift into their unique Akiridion forms. "I always liked you guys better like this. More glowy and less uncanny." (y/n) admitted, leaning back on her chair. Aja pushed (y/n) on the shoulder softly with a giggle, but now in her Akiridion form her strength was much more powerful than usual which in turn caused the human to tip over with a short yell.

Krel finally opened the coat closest door, finding the pile of boxes within that were partially covered with three coats. Krel's attention was focused on what was in the top box. He used one pair of hands to slide away the coats hanging and the other two rummaging into the box of old baby toys and items.
"What's this floppy thing supposed to be?" He randomly questioned, holding up a shapeless piece of worn fabric. (y/n)'s eyes squint to inspect the strange found object that hung formless of anything with the way it dangled from Krel's fingers, trying to associate it with whatever it was.
