The door of the ship closed, leaving the ten adults to reflect on what had just happened. Kendra and Carter rushed Professor Boardman to the Med-Bay, severely wounded. Rip shouted orders at Gideon, the ship's interface, to cloak the ship from sight.

Meg watched everything happen in front of her with a shocked expression, swaying on her feet. Everyone around her started to question what had just happened.

Hands trembling, Margaret looked down at her fingertips. Was she some sort of freak? A monster? Could she even control herself? She did black out when using her powers... giving her no control over them.

Someone like her, with narcolepsy and black outs, shouldn't have powers like these. Meg was always afraid of losing control. Going into a blackout for the rest of her life and not able to stop herself from hurting people.

Her mind going numb, Meg ignored the blistering pain in her shoulder. The cut was bleeding a little unhealthily, but she was in too much of shock to notice it. Everyone around her was fuzzy and disoriented as Margaret stood staring blankly in front of her.

Rip sat down in his chair, running a hand through his hair, muttering something to himself. Mick and Snart were conversing with Sara, and Dr. Stein and Jax seemed to be arguing.

"Meg?" Ray waved a hand in front of her face, his brows furrowed with worry when she didn't respond.

He reached out his hand, which landed on her shoulder. Margaret flinched away before she fell over, asleep with her eyes wide open in shock.

"Margaret, come on, wake up. We're all okay!" He reassured her, gently trying to shake Meg awake.

"Miss Grace is wounded and bleeding heavily. Her narcolepsy has brought her into a state of shock." Gideon, the interface, explained. Ray lifted the fabric of her jacket off her shoulder, noticing the deep slice.

"I'll take her to the med-bay." Ray scooped up Meg into his arms and carried her quickly through the ship. Her breathing was fast and labored, tiny balls of light encircling her wrists.

Internally, Margaret didn't understand what was going on. She couldn't bring herself to wake up. Her whole body was numb, and she couldn't seem to breathe.

Ray laid Meg down on a bed, attaching an IV bracelet to her wrist. Immediately, Meg woke up as Gideon gave her some medication to ease her narcolepsy. She sat up, her face twisting in pain as she moved her shoulder.

The billionaire helped Margaret out of her jacket, and rolled up her sleeve to see the jagged cut, which was opened and bleeding.

"Uh, Gideon? This is bleeding pretty badly." Ray observed, grabbing a towel from the counter to stop the heavy bleeding. The pressure on her shoulder made Meg wince.

"This might hurt a bit, Miss Grace." Gideon said.

As Meg opened her mouth to speak, a horrible stinging sensation filled her shoulder. It was alarming, and burned her whole arm as the wound slowly started to close.

She grabbed onto Ray's arm tightly, cramming her eyes shut to keep them from watering.

"Does it hurt?" Ray asked. Meg sent him a look.

"Forget I asked, then." Ray sighed, doing his best to try and comfort Meg from the burning pain of Gideon cleansing and closing the wound.

"It's fine." Margaret rolled her sleeve back down as Gideon finished. She took her arm out of the IV, rolling around her still sore and tender shoulder to make sure it still worked. A dark pink scar stood in place of the wound.
