Waiting carefully in the brush, Meg kept an eye on the younger version of Mick- who was sitting on a rock as he watched his house crumble in flames.

"Where is she?" She asked Mick- who was a little ways behind the redhead. He looked down at her, and shrugged his shoulders. Even though Mick had changed, he certainly was still blunt at times.

"This is where Gideon said she'd be, so she's gonna be here." He grumbled back at Meg, his heat gun gripped tightly in his hand.

Sighing, Meg turned back around to look at the younger version of Mick- Mick Jr. if you will. Nothing had changed- no sign of the Pilgrim anywhere. Maybe Gideon had been wrong.

Then, footstep echoed in her ears- and Meg's head whipped in the direction that the noise came from. A small smile plastered itself onto her lips.

"Gotcha."

The Pilgrim lifted a gun to Mick Jr's head, letting Meg know it was time to act.

She sent a wave of light over to her, knocking the Pilgrim back. Moving swiftly, she headed over to Mick's younger self and grabbed him by the arm.

He pulled away, and almost tried to fight the redhead back.

"Hey- kid- you gotta come with me, okay? Or you are going to die." Meg said- her eyes glanced back to the Pilgrim as she got to her feet. Ray- clad in his Atom suit- flew in to back Meg up.

"Why should I listen to you?" He asked, being a stubborn teenager- almost as stubborn as Mick was today. Sighing, Meg ran a hand through her hair, squinting to see in the dark night.

"Because, Mick, I think you'd want to save yourself." Meg said. His eyes widened as she said his name, but listened anyway. Switching back to his cocky scowl, Mick Jr got up to follow Meg.

"How do you know my name?" He asked. Meg grabbed his arm and pulled him in the direction of the Waverider.

"That's not important." She said, "But what is, though, is not dying. Pick up the pace, kid."

They ran in the direction of the ship, the sounds of lasers whirring around from the Pilgrim and Ray boomed behind the two. The sounds of fighting slowly faded the further away they got.

As they approached the ship, Mick Jr stopped, looking at the ship in total confusion as he caught his breath.

"Who are you?" He asked, "I'm not gonna follow you unless you tell me who the hell you are."

Even as a kid, Mick was just as stubborn.

"Grace." Meg said, using her last name. He couldn't know who she was yet, "I'm apart of an organizing called... called ARGUS. It's sort of like the Witness Protection Program. Now- you are in a lot of danger and if you don't follow me, there is gonna be a lot of trouble for you." She pointed to where they came from.

Rolling his eyes, Mick Jr nodded and follows Meg inside the Waverider. She lead him to the loading bay- where she pointed to a few boxes and told him to sit.

"Wait- so you're just gonna leave me here?"

"You're perfectly safe right now if you just stay here, okay? Don't go wandering off." Meg warmed.

Heading out of there, Meg quickly walked to where the rest of the team was.

"Little Mick is safe- he's in the storage bay." She said, "A stubborn one- he is."

"Wait- so we are just gonna leave him unsupervised?" Sara asked, "What did you even tell him?"

"I told him that we're ARGUS. He seemed to buy it. I don't think we should tell him who we are exactly yet." Meg explained.
