"You're his daughter?" Meg asked, baffled as she folded her arms to try and contain her shock, "That makes two of us."
Cassandra furrowed her brows, shaking her head, "My father has no other children."
Snart and Rip left the room- leaving Meg with her... Half sister?
"Then our father hasn't been entirely truthful to you." Meg sassed, "Gideon- please do a DNA comparison on Cassandra and me."
"DNA comparison shows that you, Cassandra, and Miss Grace are in fact biological half sisters." The interface claimed. Meg smiled from the answer, flashing a smug look to Cassandra.
"That's not possible-"
"Oh, dear Cassie, it is." Meg chimed, "Now- what is it gonna take for you to give up dear old Daddy's plan and join team awesome?"
"Father has taught me how to endure the most extreme pain. Any suffering I do is a small price to pay towards his cause." Cassie explained.
"Meg- Cassandra can be of vital use to help stop Savage. Be careful with her though- we have just taken in some refugees." Rip informed Meg in her earpiece.
The redhead thought for a moment, then opened Cassie's cage, letting her walk out free.
"Now, what cause exactly is that?" Margaret asked, "The one where he let loose a virus that killed millions... Or the part where he took innocent people and turned them into bird monsters-"
"My father stood up to Per Degaton who unleashed that virus. He was only his mentor.. That virus killed my mother." Cassie snapped, arms folded.
"Oh really? Cuz, sis, I was there. Per Degaton was a little boy. We were all there when Savage announced that he would unleash the virus." Meg retorted, her fists clenched as she remembered that day in the Conglomerate.
"Why do I have a feeling that you're lying, then, sis."
"Gideon- roll the footage please." Meg said.
A hologram showed up- showing the exact moment when Savage took responsibility for making the decisions for Per Degaton- instructing to unleash the virus on innocent people.
Cassie shook her head, showing the first actual raw emotion since she got to the ship.
"No... This isn't what happened." She said, staring at her feet.
"Cassandra, it's the truth. Follow me." Meg waved her arm for Cassie to follow her.
Leading her through the ship, Meg showed her the refugees that they had taken in because no other place in the world was safe for them.
"These people have been through hell because of our father. And there's more out there- innocent, helpless people- fighting for their lives against his forces." Margaret explained to her, "These were the ones we could save from the attack... The rest from their camp are dead."
Suddenly, the ship started to rumble- jerking violently left and right. Everyone was thrown off their feet- being sent tumbling this way and that. Cassie managed to hang on to the rail- but Meg hit the wall, hard. Her vision became blurry, and the laser burn from the Pilgrim throbbed harshly.
"Margaret-" Cassie held out a hand, helping her up, "You okay?"
Meg held her sore side, blinking away her blurry vision.
"Since when did you become nice? And please- its Meg." The redhead said before turning to the refugees, "Is everyone okay? If you need medical attention- the med bay is just down the hall. Gideon, the interface, can help you."
