Going back in time a handful of decades (probably even a century) from the temporal zone the team was in did not come without side effects. The landing in 1950's was extremely rough, causing Margaret's head to spin and her vision to go temporarily.

"Is anyone else blind in their left eye?" Professor Stein asked, his voice quavering from impending nausea. Meg leaned forward, resting her head in her hands as she tried to compose herself- not trusting herself to walk.

"Looking green there, Meg." Ray's voice called to Margaret's right. Her eyes watering, Meg swallowed the bile rising in the back of her throat, blinking a few times.

"Am I? Or are you just going color blind from our ride?" She piped up.

"Touché." Said the ATOM.

"Like I said before, the further you go back in time, the more severe the effects of time travel are on the human body. Don't worry, they are temporary." Rip explained. Meg's vision slowly started to clear, and the nausea slowly subsided.

"I wonder how shitty it must be to go back to ancient times." Meg muttered, slowly getting up.

"So where are we?" Jax asked as he slowly got up from his chair.

"Harmony Falls, somewhere in the 1950's." Rip announced.

"Quiet town? Doesn't sound like Savage's MO." Ray said as he got up.

"Especially for someone who has had coffee with Hitler. What's he doing here, anyways?" Sara asked, folding her arms.

"Murdering, apparently." Rip said, pulling up a nice house in a little neighborhood.

"A piano teacher was found murdered in her home, which is now up for sale." Gideon announced as Rip looks at Ray, Kendra, and Meg.

"Guess we're moving!" Meg said uneasily.

-------

"There is, of course, crown molding. All original floors, and a Stucco ceiling." The real estate agent said. Ray and Kendra were pretending to be married (clearly Rip's idea) while Meg was shrunken down in Ray's Atom suit in his front pocket.

"There's also a room above the garage suitable for live-in help." She explained. Meg bit her lip, ready to laugh. This lady was being extremely racist it wasn't even funny.

"Oh, well, we don't need a maid." Ray started, putting his arm around Kendra. He tensed up a little bit as he does so, not used to the act. Meg couldn't help but tense up with jealously, but quickly calmed herself. They were just pretending.

"My husband and I get along just fine on our own." Kendra finished. The realtor raised her eyebrows, and pursed her lips sourly.

"You know, I have a nice Tudor-style house in another town... In a more accepting neighborhood." She started, but Kendra put her hand up.

"It's fine. I like my towns backwards." She said.

With that, papers were signed and the real estate agent left with a disapproving huff. Meg let out an amused sigh, and started to move around in Ray's front pocket.

"Meg, that tickles." The ATOM said as she tried to figure out how his suit worked.

"How do you-"

She zoomed upwards, out of Ray's pocket, and into the air. A yell came from her mouth, shocked from her trip in the air.

"-fly this thing. Well... I, uh... Ray, kindly tell me how to get out of this."

He chuckled, and grabbed Meg's shrunken down arm, tapping a button with his pinky finger lightly. The redhead grew back to her regular size, and quickly started taking off the exo-suit.
