"None at all, you ass." Meg's half sister pulled her arm away from Savage, "They showed me the truth of what you've done. The innocent-"

"Do not speak as if you know anything about ruling a people." Savage bellowed, "Are you really gonna align your fate with these... Pretenders? They're nothing but grains of sand in the desert of time."

"You monster." Cassie growled, taking a step back. Savage blinked a few times, then smiled.

"Is she here? You know she can do me no harm."

Meg stepped out, her hands balled up with blinding light as shadows circled around her arms in dark, black swirls.

"Clearly, dear father, you didn't get the memo." She growled- blasting him with light as Kendra swooped out- Carter's mace in hand.

The two of them sprinted at Savage- who looks ready to fight himself. Meg threw a punch here and there- while he backed away into the hall- leading the two women somewhere while they tried kick his ass.

Looking around, Meg found a light source- draining it of its power to use for her own. The feeling of the power surging through her veins was intense, powerful, and so overwhelming- but so good at the same time.

"Look at yourself, Margaret. Hungry for power. Looks like we aren't so different." Savage said with a lopsided grin. Meg's hand heated up as she blasted him against the wall- taking a few hits to the stomach in the process. She groaned, stumbling back as she felt the stinging untreated burn given to her by the Pilgrim.

"We are nothing alike." Meg spat- watching as Kendra connected the mace to Savage's side- sending him flying backwards. He looked shocked at how easily she was able to do that.

"If you wanted to keep that bracelet safe you could have worn it yourself." She hissed- striking him again. Savage attacked- still going strong even though he was bleeding and wounded. Kendra doubled back- giving Meg the perfect time to strike.

The redhead's shadows swirled around her like a tornado as she blasted at him- feeling the tingly power leaving her body. Savage stumbled back, grabbing Meg's arm in the process as she reached for a knife. They fell together onto the ground, wrestling for the blade that clattered onto the cool metal floor.

Savage grabbed onto the blade and shoved it into Meg's knee. A howl escaped her lips as unbelievable pain filled her entire leg. Quickly- the Meta found another light source and absorbed the power. She was able to offset Savage so Kendra could strike once again.

Then someone came in.

Meg took another knife from her belt, chucking it at the masked person swiftly. He caught it right in front of his face, then pounced on Meg, bashing her against the nearest wall.

Her head made contact with it, which caused stars to fill her vision and hot, sticky blood to drip down her face. Meg felt an anger course through her veins like a powerful drug, fueling her abilities as she sent him across the room.

The man got up and flipped Margaret over- kicking her swiftly in the side. The redhead yelped, the pain from her burn flaring up.

She was fighting blind with rage, tackling the masked man to the ground as Kendra hit Savage once again with the mace. A fist flew at Meg's face, cutting her cheek and throwing her head swiftly back. Using her powers, she decided to unmask Savage's henchman.

And when she saw who it was, she swore slowly, faltering back.

"Carter?" She asked, breathing heavily.

"Who's Carter?" He questioned, tripping Meg over with his foot. She felt the knife twist further into her knee- causing a scream to escape her lips. Meg's hands tried to soak up some light in order to blast Carter back- but she got nothing. Her energy was running low, which meant no powers for a little bit.

But this was at a very bad time.

Meg's knees weakened as the shadows that swirled around the room disappeared. Her hair- which glowed a blinding white- stopped glowing, and the pendent she wore around her neck ceased to shine with light.

Carter ripped the knife from Meg's knee, and pinned her against the wall as the cool blade soaked in her blood pressed against her neck.

Kendra had Savage pinned down, ready to kill him. She looked up to see what Meg's dilemma was, but only stood in shock to see Carter- alive and well. Meg grabbed the ancient prince's hand and twisted it behind his back. She pulled the gun from his belt and held it up to his head. No one moved a muscle.

"You're reincarnated lover." Savage smiled through bloody lips, "I found him. He had no idea of his past selves and I used that as an opportunity to lock his mind."

Kendra looked up at Carter again, tears filling her eyes. She raised the mace to kill Savage- but he began talking once again.

"If you kill me, my priestess, you will be killing the key to Carter's mind." He said. Kendra shook her head, slowly lowering the mace.

"Kendra- don't listen to him. Kill him- we can get Carter back without him." Meg said, her hands not shaking in the slightest as she held the gun- her other arm pinning Carter's arm behind his back tightly.

"But... Carter.." She cried.

Rip ran in, almost out of breath.

"Kendra- what are you doing? Kill him!" He exclaimed, "Reinforcements will be here any second!"

She shook her head, nodding at Carter.

"If I kill him... Carter's mind will be locked away forever. If I don't..."

"My wife and son will die." Rip finished, nodding his head. Meg looked at the two like they were insane- glaring furiously at Kendra.

"You need to kill Savage." She snapped desperately, her hands starting to tremble as the pain from her injuries flared up. A few sparks of bright white light erupted from Meg's hands- weak and flickering. Shadows encircled her wrists- blacker than black and swirling dangerously, "Do you know how many people this man has killed? How many lives he's ruined?! Don't be like him and only do things for yourself Kendra." Meg was so angry the shadows seemed to flood into her eyes- blackening her bright green orbs. She raised her arm quickly, swiftly knocking out Carter with the butt of her gun. Her knee giving out, Meg hung onto the wall as sweat and blood poured down her bruised face.

Kendra looked from Carter to Savage several times, crying.

And then she lowered her mace, knocking him out instead, "Let's take both of them back to the ship."
