[This chapter is probably going to be extremely short and I'm sorry for that :c it's more of a filler. After the time between the last update and this one, I'm disappointed I didn't have anything better. But I'm hoping to get back in the swing of things since fair and band camp are over! Also: THANK YOU for 15k!!!! That's awesome guys c: it means a lot.]
Heeeeey (Y/N)?" Josh looked up from his breakfast. "Yeees Josh?" You drew out the 'yes' as you replied.
"We should start a little bit of wedding planning today!" Josh said excitedly, now having a mouthful of his breakfast. He looked extremely excited about the idea. You chuckled at this for a minute before responding.
"Sure! I think it'd be fun. I don't really know where to start though." You admitted, thinking about everything that needed to be planned out. "Hm... Maybe colors would be a good place to start?" Josh suggested.
°°°
After a couple hours of planning, you and Josh soon became over worked by everything you had to do.
You were able to get some stuff done, though. Though not everything was touched on, you were able to get an impressive amount for a single day.
This, however, made you and Josh pretty burned out on wedding planning since you both did so much of it.
So instead of more wedding planning, Josh decided to take you on a date.
This would be your last date before you and Josh got married.
This date wasn't going to be fancy by any means. It was too late in the day for any normal restaurant to be open.... So he took you to a small fast food restaurant.
You guys ended up going through the drive thru since you didn't feel like going inside. Neither of you seemed to mind though.
After going through the drive thru, a Josh drove you up to a small hill on the way home. It wasn't anything overly impressive, but you had a good view of the sunset.
"Fast food while watching the sunset. How romantic." You laughed. "I couldn't ask for anything better." Josh chuckled in response, pecking you on the cheek.
"So... We're like, actually gonna get married, huh?" You said, looking at the sunset while you ate some french fries you had gotten from the drive thru. "Yea... Kinda weird, but really cool, you know?" Josh replied, also eating some french fries.
"Yea I know what you mean. I'm marrying my best friend though. So that's pretty kickass." You grinned. "Well I am pretty kickass." Josh teased. "Of course you are Josh." You laughed.
There was a small pause of silence while you two finished off your french fries while watching the sun set.
"I'm excited for the wedding." Josh said in a serious, yet happy tone.
"Well I'm pretty excited too." You responded, looking back at Josh rather than the sun.
"I always hoped for this with you. Even when we were little, as weird as that sounds. Like when you're little, and you have those visions of your future? This is what I had always hoped for. And it's happening." Josh explained.
"I'm not gonna lie, I've thought about it too." You admitted. "I'm glad it's an actual thing though. I'm pretty pumped for it!" You smiled, thinking of how your wedding day would turn out.
"Hey (Y/N)?" "Yea?" "I love you."
"I love you too Josh." You replied, smiling at the words. "Like, I really love you, you know?" "And I really love you too." You chuckled. "Like I reeeeeeeeeeeally love you!" Josh said, leaning into you.
"And I really really reeeeeeeally love you too!" You said, leaning into his shoulder too.
Josh leaned down and gave you a kiss, and rested his forehead on yours once he had pulled back from it.
"I love you, french fry breath."
[Yep. Super short chapter :c hopefully the next two will make up for it *wink*]
