Finally Found You (Josh Dun x Reader)

It was only a month until you were due.

The past couple of months were pretty relaxed for you and Josh.

Josh decided that he wouldn't continue with the tour ever since you passed out and were sent to the hospital. He didn't want to leave you alone again.

Currently, you were making waffles.

The entire house smelled of them, but you didn't mind. And from the sounds of the footsteps nearing the kitchen, neither did Josh.

Before you were able to turn around, Josh's arms wrapped around your waist, hands resting on your stomach.

"Good morning beautiful." Josh greeted you as he rested his chin on your shoulder.

"Good morning Josh." You told him good morning as well, a smile on your face. "The waffles smell amaaaazing." Josh yawned, pulling away from you as walked to the counter, lifting himself up so he could sit on it.

"Thanks. I try." You chuckled. "Well your efforts haven't gone to waste!" Josh declared, grinning.

Both of you were sitting at the breakfast bar you had, and were eating waffles. "These are so good." Josh mumbled with a mouth full of waffle. "I'm glad." You responded, talking as if you had a mouth full of food too. "Hah. Hah." Josh chuckled after he finished eating the mouthful of waffle.

You and Josh continued eating until something crossed your mind.

"Hey Josh?" You looked over at your husband. "Yea?" Josh looked at you, waiting for your response. "I know we've been putting this off a little... But what should we name the baby?" You asked, resting your cheek against your palm.

Josh pulled the car into the driveway, and put the car in park.

Both of you had went to the craft store, and picked up some letters to spell out the baby's name in his room.

The excitement you felt was unimaginable.

You quickly got out of the car, and hurried back into the house to put everything in place. Josh followed after you, wanting to be with you whenever a new decoration was put into the baby's room.

Both of you walked into the room, a sense of peace filling you. You looked around the room, seeing all of the things you had so far.

The blue walls surrounded you, your lips forming a smile as you remembered painting the room. You walked over to the crib, placing your hands against the top of it.

There was a shelf above the crib that would later hold pictures of the baby, and various other things.

You and Josh both decided that it would be a good space for the letters.

Josh helped you place the letters onto the shelf, and you did so carefully.

You wanted everything to be absolutely perfect for your child.

Josh sat the last letter on the shelf, and you stepped back to look at it.

In wooden letters, and name 'Spencer' was spelled out. "Spencer..." Josh read, and looked down at your stomach.

"Josh... I really want to meet our baby." "I really want to meet our baby too." Josh wrapped his arm around you.

"I love you (Y/N). You and Spencer both." Josh said, placing a hand on your stomach.

Just as he did, you could feel a flutter in your stomach. "He kicked again." Josh chuckled happily. "I'd take that as an 'I love you too'." You smiled.

"We love you too Josh."
