Finally Found You (Josh Dun x Reader)

[Kind of a long chapter, sorry bout that. I hope you guys enjoy it c:]

"Joossssh." You yawned, flipping through channels on the TV. "Whaaaaaaaat." Josh yawned back, wrapping his arms around you even further.

You guys had decided to cuddle for a while since you didn't have much else to do.

The only thing there really was to do was to wait for the baby.

So in the mean time, you and Josh had decided to watch something on TV. You weren't due for a couple more days, and you weren't feeling any different than you usually did. So you decided that all was good.

"Ooh I remember when we watched this! The one where he was the father?" You explained, looking up at Josh with a grin. "Oh yea! Now I remember when we watched this one." Josh nodded.

"Mm.. I want some popcorn." You stretched your legs out a little, holding back another yawn. "Well I have to pee... So, while you get popcorn, I'll run to the bathroom." Josh chuckled.

"The perfect plan." You laughed as Josh helped you up from the couch.

You walked into the kitchen as Josh walked down the hall to the bathroom, a soft click signaling the closing of the door.

You were after one thing and one thing only.

Mr. Pop's extra buttery popcorn.

You remembered having some in the upper cabinet of the kicthen. So, you stood on your tippy toes after opening the cabinet, reaching in for some popcorn.

As you were reaching around, there was an odd lurch in your stomach.

You drew back from the cabinet, staring into space in confusion. "Did... Did I just piss myself or something?" You mumbled in confusion.

Then it hit you.

"Um... Honey?" You said with a very shaky voice. Josh came back into the kitchen, stretching as he entered. "Yeees?" He asked happily.

"My water just broke."

"W-What?" Josh asked, eyes wide. You simply nodded in response, your eyes pretty wide as well.

"I.. It just broke. Oh my god. The baby's coming." You stared at Josh, feeling both shocked and excited.

"Oh my god... The baby's coming. Oh my god. What do we do?!" Josh asked, now starting to freak out. "Its okay its okay... Just clam down. We just need to get the baby bag we got ready then head to the hospital, right?" You ran through a plan, hoping Josh would calm down.

"Y-Yea. Just get the bag and go..." Josh took some deep breaths. "Alright. Just stay here. Please." Josh hurriedly kissed your forehead before disappearing down the hall.

You had to take some deep breaths yourself.

You were going to meet Spencer soon.

Josh reappeared in the kitchen, the made up diaper bag you guys prepared over his shoulder.

"Alright... Lets go have a baby."

You squeezed Josh's hand tightly, this being the final push you had to do.

After only a couple seconds, it was over.

That's when you heard it.

The sound of your baby crying.

Cries were all you were able to hear right now, considering it was all you were really focused on.

Tears welled up in your eyes, happiness overtaking you. You couldn't stop smiling at the sound.

You looked up at Josh and saw that he was crying a little now too. "(Y/N) he's beautiful." Josh gently squeezed your hand as he wiped tears away with the other.

The nurse came back, holding a small bundle in her arms. "Here he is. He's a beautiful boy ma'am." The nurse smiled, gently handing him to you.

Excitedly, you took him from the nurse after she showed you how to properly hold a baby. The last thing you wanted to do was cause any amount of discomfort to him.

As you took him into your arms, a chill was sent down your spine.

"Hi..." You said in a soft voice, grinning. "Hi Spencer.." You couldn't help it, and started tearing up again. "Josh he's perfect." You looked up at your husband, extremely happy.

Josh was looking at Spencer, tears running down his face. "Absolutely perfect... He takes after his mom." He chuckled, wiping even more tears from his eyes.

"You wanna hold him?" You asked. "Y-Yea.. Of course." Josh answered shakily. Josh leaned over towards you, and you gently placed Spencer into his arms.

As soon as Josh began holding him, Josh's eyes seemed to sparkle. "Hi Spencer..." Josh smiled down as his son, and you could feel the joy overflowing from his heart.

Spencer let out a tiny yawn, and Josh's grin grew even wider. "God he's so cute... Baby's are so tiny." He chuckled.

As you looked up at Josh and Spencer, you couldn't describe how happy you felt. Today had been an amazing day, and you were thankful that both of them were there.
