Finally Found You (Josh Dun x Reader)

It was the day after your wedding, and you were just now waking up.

"Good morning, beautiful." Josh said, kissing your forehead gently. "Good morning, Josh." You smiled, and gave Josh a tiny kiss on the neck.

Your stomach growled shortly after, and Josh looked down at you with a questioning look on his face. "I might be a liiiittle hungry." You admitted with a laugh.

"Well let's go get some breakfast made. C'mon." Josh said, getting out of bed and stretching. You say up, and began to move, but cringed as soon as you began to move.

Josh noticed this, and hurried over to your side of the bed. "What's wrong?" He asked worriedly as he crouched down beside you.

"Holy shit do my legs hurt." You sighed after stopping your movement. "Why?" Josh asked, a super confused look on his face.

You have him a 'no shit Sherlock' look, remembering last night. Josh still seemed confused.

"Do you remember last night?" You asked. A sudden look of realization crossed Josh's face. "O-Oh. Um... Y-Yea, Sorry." He stuttered, his face turning a deep shade of red.

He stayed there for a moment as if thinking about something, then looked up at you.

"Just stay here, alright? I'll be back." Josh said with a smile before standing up and leaving the room.

After a while, Josh came back into the doorway of the room.

He was carrying a tray, and you didn't know what it was, until the smell of food hit you. You sat up in bed, curiously looking at the tray of food.

"Someone hungry?" Josh laughed, bringing the tray over to you, and placing it on your lap.

"Aw Josh.. Thank you." You smiled, and planted a kiss on Josh's cheek while he was setting the tray down. "No problem." Josh placed a kiss on your forehead in response.

You and Josh were now halfway through your breakfast.

"Hey, maybe later today we could watch a movi-" Josh paused as he looked up at you. "Holy shit."

"What?" You asked, kind of freaked out. "You have tiny hickeys literally all over your collar bones." "And whose fault would that be?"

As you asked, Josh just looked at you and grinned rather than acting embarrassed about the subject. "Mine." He said in a 'matter of fact' tone. "Proudly, might I add." He said, leaning over and planting a kiss on your lips.

Mid kiss, there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it. Stay here for a minute." Josh told you.

It was only moments later until Josh came back, a semi panicked look on his face. "My moms here."

Your stomach seemed to drop. "I can't even get out of bed normally! Dammit, I'll have to put on another shirt too." You sighed and forced yourself out of bed. You winced as you pushed yourself off of the bed, your legs burning.

After a couple minutes, you made it out into the living room where Josh's mom was, and you were even able to get a different shirt on that wouldn't show the hickeys Josh had gave you.

It had been about an hour since Josh's mom had showed up, and you had talked about all kinds of different things. The next question she asked caught both Josh and yourself off guard.

"So have you two looked into buying a house yet?" Josh's mom asked.

You and Josh looked at each other as if guilty of a crime. "You haven't even thought about it, have you." She laughed. "N-Not exactly." Josh admitted. "I never even thought about buying a house." You said in agreement to Josh with a slight chuckle.

"There are tons of listings around here! Now would be the perfect time to buy, in my opinion. You guys would have a lot of options." She explained with a smile.

"It might not be a bad idea..." You thought about the topic itself. "Yea.. Get ourselves our own little place. It'd be kind of fun, actually." Josh said as his eyes lit up.

Josh's mom had left about ten minutes earlier, and you and Josh were now sitting on the couch, talking about houses.

"So you really think it'd be a good idea?" You asked, unsure if he would want to move. "Yea! I think it would make stuff a little easier on us eventually." He explained. "Alright then. Should we start looking at listings around here?" You asked, excited to start the process of looking for a house. "Sure!"

It didn't take you and Josh much time to find a house both of you fell in love with. The size of the house was perfect, and the location was perfect. The price wasn't that bad either.

It would be a couple weeks before you guys could officially move in, but you were excited to do so anyway. It would give you some time to pack up all of your things.

Both of you were now in bed, and almost asleep. "I think this is gonna be a good start for us." Josh yawned tiredly as he pulled you closer to him. "Yea.. I think so too." You yawned as well, and agreed with him.

"You think we'll have trouble moving in?" He asked, but got no response. You had already fallen asleep. "Night. Love you." Josh gently kissed your forehead with a chuckle before falling asleep too.
