Sometimes things happen and there's nothing you can do about it. You feel powerless. You feel alone. You feel lost. But sometimes...all you need is that one person to find you again.
The streets were quiet that night. Nobody was outside in the small neighborhood, except one person. They were walking home, having been at a local bar not too far away from their house. It was only a little way into the main part of the city, so walking there wasn't so bad.
They walked past the houses, all aligned in a row on the street, not caring who might've been watching them from inside the darkened windows. This person wore a big baggy hoodie to conceal themselves from the watching world. Besides, they always wanted to hide their face on the way home from the bar. Judgment was always present.
Soon, they arrived at the small, but neat little house that they called home.

The person stood in front of it, taking it in once again. Why? Because the house before them held many memories. Some they wished they could forget.
They walked inside and shut the door, locking it behind them. They let out a long sigh and finally flipped back their hood. The girl walked over to her living room couch and collapsed onto it. Lazily, she flipped on the TV, not caring what was on.
A news broadcast came on. She watched it, wondering what was going on. Apparently, it was pretty serious.
"Our reports are telling us that a deviant android in the building murdered the father of the family and is now holding the daughter captive on the roof. They're on the edge of the roof and for now, it looks like the machine and the team sent in to handle the situation are at a standstill." The woman reporting the incident said. Then, she listened in to her earpiece. "I've just received new information, everyone. It appears an android has been sent in to contain the deviant and rescue the girl. This would be the first time an android was given such a high-level mission."
The girl scoffed, changing the channel. She leaned back on the couch with a sigh. One of her pet cats hopped up onto her stomach, laying down with a small meow. She petted the cat as she stared at the ceiling, almost completely tuning out the TV now.
"Can you believe it, Resinilly? Soon they'll take everything from us. Androids were meant to help us...not replace us." She said. The cat let out another meow. She kept petting her. "Would you like to play with the others?" She asked Resinilly. The cat meowed happily and hopped off, heading to the room the was specifically designed for the pets the girl owned. She got up and followed her. She let her other pets out of the cage and they all began to play together.
The girl went back to the kitchen and proceeded to grab a beer out of the fridge. She opened it and began to drink it. She set down the bottle after a few large gulps and sighed. She sat there, holding the bottle in her hands and staring blankly at it. "Androids aren't helpful. They're stealing everything from us. People are just gonna be lazy now and nothing good will have come out of this." She growled. She thought of the news story. She scoffed again. "Ridiculous. What are they gonna make next? A freaking ninja spy android? Wouldn't fucking surprise me."
As she sat there, alone, she thought about how things used to be. She thought about how much better things were before. She sighed heavily, before going back to the animal's room and putting them back in their cage. "That's enough play for tonight." She said, making sure they were fed before saying goodnight and going to her room.
She carelessly tossed her clothes onto the floor and collapsed onto her bed. She took the final swig of her drink before tossing the bottle into the little garbage can beside her nightstand. She began to feel drowsy, just as she planned. She pulled her blanket sloppily overtop of her. "Fucking androids..." She muttered before passing out on her bed and finally cashing in for the night.

You say it reh-zen-ill-E as if your saying Resin, like the substance, and then Lilly without the first L. I made up the name so I just wanted to provide a helpful note! That's all!)
