Sometimes things happen and there's nothing you can do about it. You feel powerless. You feel alone. You feel lost. But sometimes...all you need is that one person to find you again.
You groaned as your eyes opened. A bright light blinded you for a moment before you were able to get a good look around. You were in a bigger room with panels and machines all around. There was one single chamber that looked like it was meant to house an android, but it had nothing in it. There was another machine that had some strange arms attached to it right next to a huge panel and screen. All around were pipes, wires, and blue and red illuminating lights. One wall was lined with two cells. They were both empty. There was also a metal stairway that led up to another smaller room that you couldn't see into.
You shook your head to clear it. I've got to get out of here. You tried to move, but there were cuffs on your hands, chaining you to the wall. Instead, you made an attempt to stand. You were able to get to your feet, but the chains pulled more. You growled in frustration.
"You're wasting your time struggling, you know." You looked up toward the room and saw a girl there. You glared at her as you recognized her voice. It was the same girl that tricked you and the same one that led the ambush in the warehouse.
"You won't get away with this! You can't kill all of us! Not anymore!" You shouted.
"Oh really? Big talk for the one who made that pitiful rescue attempt."
"My friend's aren't here, which means I could still have a chance." You said. She looked toward two big metal doors as they opened right after you'd finished speaking. You saw that the others had been caught.
"You were saying?" They were shoved into the cells and locked in. Gavin pounded on the glass a few times.
"Bastards!" He shouted. Cass spotted you.
"(Y/n)! You're alright!"
"More or less." You grumbled. The girl laughed as she came closer.
"You all are such idiots! You really think we'd leave this pace that unattended? That is absolutely hilarious."
"Big talk from the girl who couldn't get an ambush right. Twice." You mocked. She glared at you.
"You have no idea what's even going on, (Y/n). Just you watch." She growled. Now that she was closer, you could get a good look at her.

She had bright red hair, one icy blue eye, and one bright purple eye. Her nails were painted black, matching her outfit. She took off the bandana and tied it to her wrist.
"Are you trying to go through your goth stage again, or what?" You asked. She glared at you again.
"I'll have you know, I prefer this style. So does my boyfriend."
"You have somebody interested in you?" You said with a grin. You could see the rage burning in her eyes. Then, it turned into a smirk.
"Well...it does give a just a tiny thing in common." She cooed.
