Sometimes things happen and there's nothing you can do about it. You feel powerless. You feel alone. You feel lost. But sometimes...all you need is that one person to find you again.
There were Snow and Mel, the parents. They were both very nice. Snow was a bit sweeter than Mel. Mel was more curious. He was still very nice and he was always full of energy. It was a good trait to have to keep his little ones entertained.

There were the two identical twins. Almond was the girl and Yipper was the boy. Almond was a cuddle bug. She loved attention. So did Yipper. He was more demanding about it though. He was very brave though. He was a lot like his father.

And finally, their last sibling was Flurry. Flurry was shy, but she loved her her family and she was very cuddly with you. When she wasn't snuggling with you, she was always with them. They loved to stay together. Granted, they lived in a cage, but it was a large cage. It went all the way from the floor to the ceiling. It was full of things for them to climb, do, and play with, so they didn't have to be next to each other all the time.
All of them were Sugar Gliders and you loved each of them. They helped keep you company along with the cats in your empty old home. They were the one good thing that came out of that mess.
After they were fed and you made sure they had plenty of water, you went to take a shower. You scrubbed your body until you felt like a new person on the outside. You got out and dried off before getting dressed.

You looked at yourself in the mirror. You noticed the necklace you were wearing was no longer hidden thanks to the shirt you were wearing. You didn't want anybody to know you still wore it. You took it off, deciding to leave it at home for today.
