"Yeah, I saw the bruising on the neck." Hank agreed. "Doesn't prove anything though. Could've been rough play."

"I don't think that's it." You said.

"Agreed. We're missing something here." Connor said.

"Think you can read the android's memory?" Hank asked. "Maybe you can see what happened."

"I can try," Connor said. He grabbed her arm and his hand went white again, but nothing happened. "The only way to access its memory is to reactivate it."

"Think you can do it?" Hank asked.

"It's badly damaged. If I can, it'll only be for a minute, maybe less." Connor said.

"It's worth a try." You said.

"I just hope it's long enough to learn something," Connor said as he opened up the android.

"All we can do is try." You told him. He reconnected two of her wires and she sprung to life, looking panicked.

"You were damaged and I reactivated you. Everything is alright." Connor explained.

"Is he...is he dead?" She asked.

"Tell me what happened," Connor said.

"He started...hitting me...again and again." She said. Her LED was bright yellow.

"Did you kill him?" Connor asked.

"No. N-no it wasn't me." She replied.

"Were you alone in the room? Was there anyone else with you?" Connor asked.

"He wanted to play with two girls. That's what he said, there were two of us." She replied.

"What model was the other android? Did it look like you?" Connor asked. She was about to say something, but then she shut down. Connor looked disappointed. He stood up.

"So, there was another android," Hank said.

"Most likely the killer." You added.

"This happened over an hour ago, it's probably long gone," Hank said.

"No. It couldn't go outside dressed like that unnoticed. It might still be here." Connor said.

"Think you could find a deviant among all the other androids in this place?" Hank asked.

"Deviants aren't easily detected," Connor replied.

"Ah, shit. There's gotta be some other way. Maybe an eyewitness? Somebody who saw it leaving the room." Hank suggested. "I'm gonna go ask the manager a few questions about what he saw. You two let me know if you think of anything."

"Right. We will." You replied. You both looked around. You saw Connor go up to a woman in one of the displays. He tried to open it and you began to understand what he was doing. He didn't have any fingerprints because he was an android, so he couldn't access it.

"Excuse me, Lieutenant," Connor said, going over to Hank.

"Found somethin'?" He asked.

"Maybe." You both followed him over. "Can you rent this Traci?"

"For fuck's sake, Connor, we got better things to do."

"Please, Lieutenant. Just trust me." Connor said. Hank sighed and rented it. Connor probed her. He let go.

"It saw something." He said.

"What are you talkin' about? Saw, what?" Hank asked.

"The deviant leave the room. A blue-haired Traci. Club policy is to wipe the androids' memory every two hours. We only have a few minutes if we want to find another witness!"

"Then let's go!" You said. You followed Connor and he probed multiple androids. Soon enough you found were it went.

"I know where it went! Follow me!" You both followed him through the staff door. Connor was about to go into the next room, but Hank said,

"Wait. I'll take it from here." He took out his gun and went in. You all followed after him. You were all in a large warehouse.

"Shit! We're too late!" Hank cursed.

"Hang on. Let's look around." You said. You all looked around until Connor paused. You began to walk over, but then another android attacked him! Hank raised his gun as you both hurried over.

"DON'T MOVE!" Hank shouted, but he was attacked by the blue-haired Traci. You tried to help Hank. You saw Connor get pushed to the floor. Hank noticed too.

"Go! I got this one!" You nodded. You ran to help Connor. You pulled her off of him.

"Leave him alone!" You growled. She elbowed you in the gut and you doubled over slightly. You both fought each, but then she got the upper hand. She grabbed a screwdriver, shoving you to the ground. She went to stab you straight through your skull. You screamed, covering your head with your arms. You expected to feel it go into your body, but it never did. You uncovered your face and saw that Connor had jumped in to help you. She was about to run, but Connor fought her again.

It was another minute or so of this until finally it was taken outside. Connor tried to stop them and you saw him grab the gun and he had it trained on one of them. You grew fearful for a moment, but he didn't shoot much to your own relief. You didn't want him to shoot, to your own surprise. You saw him get kicked backward, but he was alright. You noticed his LED was yellow. He looks....conflicted. You heard the Traci start to speak.

"When that man broke the other Traci, I knew I was next." The blue haired Traci began. "I was so scared. I begged him to stop, but he wouldn't. And so I put my hands around his throat and I squeezed until he stopped moving. I didn't mean to kill him. I just wanted to stay alive, get back to the one I love. I wanted her to hold me in her arms again, make me forget about all the humans, their smell of sweat and their dirty words." She said.

"Come on, let's go." The other one said. They climbed the fence and ran away.

"It's probably better this way." Hank said. Connor's LED was still yellow. You wondered why he looked so...confused. You decided not to question it. Hank offered to drive you home, but you said you'd take a cab. Connor came over to you, his LED still yellow.

"(Y/n), um, I wanted to say goodnight to you." He said. You were stunned. You smiled a little bit, avoiding his gaze.

"T-thanks, I guess. G-goodnight." You replied.

"I will see you again tomorrow, (Y/n)." He said with a smile. You couldn't stop a small blush.

"Y-yeah. S-see ya." You agreed. You turned around an began to head out. "Bye." You heard a faint reply as you walked away.

"Goodbye."
