'Nothing...' We both said nothing for a moment, while he put his chin on the crown of my head and I hid my face in his chest. 'I talked to Brian.'

'Oh... About?'

'Ehm... about our kiss.' Tom sighed.

'What did he say?,' he asked a little hesitant.

'He got angry...' Another silence.

'Well, of course he got angry. Ali, listen.' Tom held me a little away and stared down at me. His blue eyes looked sad and a little guilty. 'I'm sorry I kissed you. I shouldn't have done that; I knew you are engaged. I don't know what got into me, I just... I really like you.'

'It's okay. It's not your fault.' I wiped my silent tears away. 'I'm just angry because it made me realize that I -' I stopped talking, knowing that if I said what I wanted to say, there would be no way back and it hurt too much at the moment.

'You realized what?,' Tom asked.

'Nothing, leave it.' I pulled my arms out of his grip and started walking.

'Ali...'

'Tom, I said leave it.' I didn't want to tell him, and actually say out loud, that our kiss made me realize I didn't love Brian the way I should while being engaged to him. I knew, though. I knew I couldn't give him what he wanted. I had known for a long while, but I thought that I could deal with it. Brian should be the best thing that had ever happened to me, and in a way he was, but I couldn't be happy enough. And he didn't deserve that, but he didn't deserved to be cheated on by me either.

Tom caught up with me and nudged my shoulder.

'Tomorrow it'll be fine...'

'I don't think so...' We said nothing until we got back to the party.

'Hey Al, get your ass over here, we're doing a drinking game!,' Alan shouted. I smiled and walked up to the group of people sitting around a large table, an empty bottle on its side on top. Most of Bring Me, All Time Low and Of Mice And Men were sitting around it, Oliver of course having some girl sitting on his lap. I rolled my eyes and took a seat besides Tom. He smiled at me and I returned it.

'What we're playing?,' I asked.

'Truth or Dare,' Tino answered.

'Oli, it's your turn,' someone said and Oliver twisted the bottle. I poured myself another drink and downed it at once, refilling my cup again.

'You okay?,' Tom asked softly.

'Yeah... I just... I wanna go brains out drunk tonight.' He raised his eyebrows.

'Okay.'

Another few rounds of spinning the bottle and it finished pointing straight at me.

'Truth or dare?,' Jack asked me. I took a sip of my fourth drink and cocked my head, feeling light-headed and much better than earlier on.

'Dare.' Everyone oooh-ed and I laughed. 'Hit me with the best you can think of.' Jack looked around the group and his gaze lingered on Austin, then he grinned mischievously.

'I dare you to kiss Austin. Not just a kiss, but a full on, setting-everything-on-fire-kiss.' It fell quiet.

'Ali, you -,' Tom started, but I got up and cut him off.

'Don't. I don't wanna hear it. It's just a game, Tom.' He got up to and grabbed me by my shoulders.

'Don't do it! Think about what you just told me!'

'Oh hush...'

'Alison, you're engaged!'

'Well, I guess I am not, anymore.' I pulled myself free and ignored Tom's further complaints.
