Over Him... (Sort Of)

CHRIS POV

"This is hard!" Jada whined.

"No one said French was easy. Just take your time" I said. She sighed and went back to the app I put on her phone. Not for nothing... she'll have to know the language if I decide to take over. Don't want her going there not knowing anything. The news will have a field day with that.

She got up "I'm going to shower and then put Gianna down". I nodded. Having Gianna on the bed as we played. She loved when I pretended to bite her feet. Her loud laughs made my day.

Ten minutes later Jada came in and grabbed Gianna "let's go!". She made a noise and I watched her carry her out the room. Moments later Jada came back yawning. Shaking my head cause she still has on the oversized tee shirt and sweats.

"Jada? Come here" I said. She stopped pulling back the covers on the bed "what?".

Motioning her to come over to where I was sitting. She slowly walked over to me and stood a few inches away "what?".

"Closer" I said.

She raised her brow "why?".

"Can you just do what I'm asking?" I asked. She sighed and walked to where my legs were open "what?".

Pulling the big shirt "why?".

"I already told you. These fifteen pounds aren't going away" she said. Roaming my hands under her shirt "from what I feel... there's nothing wrong". She pushed my hands off "maybe not for you".

"Jada?... come on. You're working yourself too hard. When was the last time you had an actual meal?" I asked.

She rolled her eyes "anyway... are we done?".

"No we are not" tugging on her shirt again "this is crazy. This shirt is three times too big. And don't even get me started on the sweats. Are you not hot at night?".

"No I'm not!" She said.

"Look... as your future husband...all I'm saying is I don't see anything wrong with your body. If anything I find it very appealing" slowly roaming my fingers along her stomach. She inhaled a breath while looking at me "see?".

She quickly composed herself and moved away from me "whatever!".

I sighed cause she wasn't listening. "Okay how about we both go on a lifestyle change. We can start cutting back on meat. Eat more vegetables. If that'll make you happy then I'll support you". She smiled "really? You'll do that?".

I nodded "yup. That way you can lose whatever weight is bothering you. And also staying healthy".

She hugged me "thank you". Feeling her bare breast on my chest was tempting me like crazy. Trying to wiggle from her grip "what's wrong?".

"Nothing, but we will start tomorrow, okay?" I said. She nodded "okay". It didn't matter what I said about her weight. It's all mental for her. So I guess if you can't beat them join them.

JADA POV

The dream I was having was amazing. Chris and I were in France in this big castle looking house. Flowers covered the front of it. Tall beautiful flowers. Gianna was much older she was running in the yard with our son. A son? Wait a minute.

A loud ringing noise was blaring by though my dream. Wiggling a little I woke up... it was my phone. Chris moaned as he was awaken by the noise.

"Hello?" I whispered.

"Sorry, about the late night call. But is this Jada (don't remember if I put a last name)...?" A voice said.

"Yes this is she" I said.

"This is the police department. I'm calling you to inform you your place was broken into" the voice said. I sat up quick "say what?!". Chris heard the emergency in my voice and turned over to face me.

"I'm sorry. If you could come down to the station I can explain more" the voice said. Jumping off the bed I went to put my shoes on. Chris got up "what's wrong?".

"My place was broken into" I mouthed. He wide eyed me "wow really".

Grabbing my coat I raced to the door. Chris stopped me "I'm going too. Let me get Gianna". I nodded and waited. You can tell he rushed cause poor thing wasn't even wearing matching shoes. A small smile formed on my face. Chris can be too cute sometimes. Maybe I should tell him. Watching him walk normal I decided not to.
