Over Him... (Sort Of)

CHRIS POV

"Oh look who came back" Brooke smiled standing at her door front. "Knew you would be back. Can't resist me huh?". She threw herself at me but I pushed her back "I'm not here to see you. I'm here for some information".

She blinked at me "you don't want this?".

Shaking my head "Nope". Ever since Jada and I blessed everywhere in our home... Brooke doesn't compare at all.

Brooke pouted "well what do you want?".

Making my way inside her home. The place just felt chilly. She didn't bother to decorate the place. Never understood why.

"Ever since I saw you in the hospital... I've been wondering about you. Are you okay?" I asked.

She looked confused "yeah I'm fine. I mean look at me!".

I nodded "then why were you there?".

She shrugged "a hospital is a public place. Anyone can be there".

"You're right! But I mean if you say you're okay. Then why were you there. Especially on the ICU unit?" I asked.

"Chris look... the third degree isn't cute. Mind your business with what I have going on" she said. Not really paying her any mind. My eyes were wondering. That's when I saw a check on her table. Focusing on it I saw paulas name on the top.

Wow...

She actually helped...

Grabbing the check "what the fuck are you doing?" She yelled. Ripping up the check in pieces. She gasped "are you crazy?!".

"No but are you? Are you fucking serious?!" I asked.

"What?!" She said.

"What? Are you serious? You helped two maniacs in a plan to murder my daughters mother! That's what! And for what?" I said.

She smirked "really Chris? Did you really think I would've let Jada have you. Let her win?".

"No offense Brooke. But she won a long time ago. I was just an idiot . That's why she's the one who had my kid. I knew from a long time ago I loved Jada. But I was to afraid to tell her" I said.

Brooke shook her head "I don't believe any of it. The only reason she had your kid is because you forgot to pull out".

"What did you think would happen if Jada died? What? We get together? Be a stepmom to my daughter?... I would never" I said.

Brooke laughed "Chris you are in a lot of mixed emotions at the moment. So you're talking crazy. Let me help you relax and get your mind right".

"Don't touch me! I swear on my daughter if you touch me I'll strangle you. I already killed two people. What's one more?" I said.

"Chris you killed Paula and her brother?" She asked.

I nodded "to protect my family. I did. But what you fail to realize is that because of your selfish actions I lost a baby".

"What?!" She asked.

"Jada was pregnant when everything happened" I said.

Brooke didn't know what to say.

"I have this new thing where when you hurt someone in my family then you must pay. Brooke you helped kill my baby" I said.

She started to look worried "I didn't know"

"You didn't care anyway" I said.

She blinked at me a few times. Walking up to her I grabbed her hair and pulled her with me. She tried to fight back but my strength was no match for her.

Dragging her outside to the back where her pool is. Throwing her to the ground I put her head in the pool. She struggled for a bit but she soon came to drowning. Checking f her pulse to make sure she was dead. I pushed her all the way in so that way it seems she drowned while swimming.

Cleaning up the scene so it didn't look suspicious. Exiting her house I went to the hospital.  Sitting with Jada... "we can be happy now".

The doctor came in to check out how things were going. "She's doing fine. She'll probably wake up at any time. But I must say... Jada is a fighter".

I smiled "she is".

Kissing her hand and keeping it in mine. That's when a beep went off on her monitor. I knew she knew I was here. That made me smile and hopeful.

When I finally went home. My mom was watching Gianna. Knowing she had some errands to do herself. Passing brookes house I saw the ambulance and police there.

A police officer waved me down "sir you can't go this way".

"What happened?" I asked.

"An accidental drowning" he answered.

"Oh wow! That's crazy" I said.

He shrugged "some people shouldn't drink and swim. Not a good combination".

"You're right" I said. Slowly making a U-turn I smiled... pulling up to the house. My mom met me outside "Chris did you hear? Brooke drowned in her pool".

I nodded "yeah I just heard. Crazy!. Always told her to not drink and swim".

"That girl never did listen" she said.

She handed me Gianna and went on her way.
