Over Him... (Sort Of)

CHRIS POV

Jada pushed pass me to walk inside. She slammed her purse on the counter "now I'm pissed off!". Quickly putting Gianna in her crib I came out "look you need to calm down. Getting all riled up isn't going to solve the problem".

"Chris you wouldn't get it cause last time I checked when they arrested me they didn't arrest you" she said.

"Jada look, maybe we can continue this in the morning. You are too fired up!" I said.

"No let's talk now... the day I've been having I need to vent!" She said.

Crossing my arms over my chest I leaned up against the table "so... talk".

"I'm just... everything started going wrong when you purposely impregnated me! I was cool, content before all of this. Things just got out of hand and complicated after! Then I have one so called friend who is fucking mental and is trying to kill me for what? I have no idea. Then her brother is working along side of her because I turned him down! This is all too much for me!" She said.

"Really?! So you want to do this?!" I asked.

She glanced at me "what?".

"So you are going to say our relationship is the reason this is all happening?" I asked.

"Chris what relationship?! We are parenting our daughter. The only reason I am here is because my place got broken into by a maniac"she said.

"Wow! Wow I'm speechless. But thank you for letting me know where we stand" I said. Leaving her there alone. Her words somewhat hurt my feelings. This whole time I assumed we were together.

Shaking my head at what I thought. Should've known better.

The next morning the house was quiet. A little too quiet. Looking from room to room no one was home. It's nine in the morning... going to the kitchen I saw a note on the fridge.

Chris,

I think it's best if we just lived apart. We can co-parent. You can come see Gianna whenever you want. I won't keep you two away from each other. But I'm staying at the hotel on sixteenth street.

Jada

Crumpling up the paper... here we go again. Now I know she's expecting me to run after her and force her back here. But I'm not going to do that. I'm going to keep calm and co parent like she wants.

It took me a whole two days to finally go see Gianna. Jada opened the door with Gianna in her hip "hey".

Slowly walking inside I looked around "nice".

She smiled "right? Thanks".

"So I'll just take Gianna with me for two days. And you can have some time for yourself" I said.

She nodded "okay... let me pack you a bag".

"Jada you don't have to do that. Her clothes is still at my place. I'll manage" I said.

"Oh yeah...umm well let me get her jacket on" she said. She disappeared with Gianna and came back "here you go". Taking her from Jada "I missed my baby girl".

Jada stood there with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Well I'll see you in two days" I said. The way she was standing she was hoping I would say what she expected me to say. But I'm not playing her games anymore.

Opening the door I walked out.

JADA POV

Closing the door I was a bit surprised. Chris was calm. He wasn't himself. I thought he would be furious that I left. But as long as he remains being a dad to Gianna then I'm fine.

With all that's going on my mind is going crazy.

Now i felt like Chris didn't get it. He doesn't get how this is all affecting my mental state. Before I snap I figured I would spare him. In the meantime I wanted to do my own investigation on Paula and her brother.

My strategy is to be nice again to Paula. Pretend to be her friend and then boom I snap.

But this shit has to stop already.
