Chapter 7

A deep tiger-like growl rumbled in his throat. Fury and bottled up rage ran through his veins, the hatred he felt towards the guards suddenly made his body heat up, sending him into a sudden killing spree. Before he knew it, his whole body had been set ablaze by the midsts of his wrath. "DON'T TOUCH THEM!" He roared, his hands making fists and sending flames towards the guards that had tried to immobilize him.  

Screams of pain and horror were heard as the two guards were set on fire, one of them dropped dead while the other rolled on the ground trying to put out the flames before dying as the unforgiving and cruel flames ate at their flesh; burning and smoldering the corpses of the dead guards.

Beomgyu's hair blew against the flames, he turned his gaze at the other two guards who were staring at him with horror. Beomgyu didn't have mercy on them, they had hurt his friends for too long, they didn't deserve to survive. With his blood boiling and pounding in his ears, Beomgyu stumped on the ground, sending a wave of fire towards the other four monsters that threatened Kai and Taehyun.

Soon, the four other guards were dead along with the others, their bodies blackened and turning into ash as the scorching flames that Beomgyu had set upon them ate them away.

"Are guys okay?" The 18-year old asked worriedly, seemingly going back to normal in the blink of an eye as he shut his flames off.

Taehyun grabbed onto Beomgyu and shivered. "Beomgyu, you know how much I love you," He gazed over at the dead and now and broken bodies of the guards. "But you seriously scare me sometimes." After Beomgyu gave him an awkward smile while scratching the back of his head, Taehyun turned to Kai and helped him up. "Alright, buddy. Lead us to Soobin."

Kai shook his wings out before nodding and grabbing Taehyun's hand before taking off.

Beomgyu was going to take off after his friends. . . If it hadn't been for one minor detail. "Wait, Taehyun what about our clothes?!"

"Leave them! This is a life or death situation!" He turned his head; his hair bouncing as he fled the scene with Kai. "Plus, why would you worry about that now?! Our friend is DYING."

And with that, Beomgyu finally took off after his friends.

Soobin let out a syren-like screech. He was tied up in a series of chains, tubes upon tubes had also been pinched into his body, filling and swelling his body with a strange black liquid. He'd been able to rip the chains before, but now every inch within himself hurt and felt weak. But his instincts still told him to fight back, if he didn't, then he'd end up dead.

His body shook and struggled as wildly a caged animal. He hissed and screeched, but all his efforts were useless, he was exhausted. His body couldn't take it any longer and was begging him for rest, so with a blurred vision, his legs gave way; splashing against the small pool of blood that he himself had provided.

He was giving in.

"Where is he?" Taehyun stretched his neck, trying to see where his friend was between the tangle of chains and black tubes.

"There he is!" Kai said pointing at the gray and bloody body that lay on the floor.

"Good! What are you guys waiting for? Come on!" Beomgyu said, his hands being swallowed by flames as he got ready to kill whoever dared to harm his dear friends.
