Chapter 13

"Yah! My head, you broke it-"

"Oh no, I'm sorry!"

"No, it's okay, bro."

"Are you sure, bro?"

"Yes, now kiss me."

"H-Huh?"

"Nothing-"

After saying his good-bye to Taehyun, Kai got off him and trotted over Yeonjun. It felt weird to hug him after so many years of not seeing him, but he still welcomed the soft warmth of the older's embrace. The older then pulled way and cupped Kai's cheeks as a proud smile spread over his face. "Ah, you better come down and say; "Hi" during my night vigils."

 "Yeah! You better visit, or we'll hunt you down alongside Beomgyu." Kai giggled and felt his feet leaving the ground as Taehyun lifted him and gave him the tightest hug ever.

 "Okay, okay. I'll visit, I promise!" Kai let out one final laugh before looking over at his leader with a shy gleam to his eyes. Will he really be welcomed?

But the leader's eyes only shone with love and affection towards the new youngster joining his tribe. He gave Kai a beautiful pearly smile and bowed at him. "It's a pleasure to meet you, young one." As Kai bounded over him, Jimin reached out and held the younger's hands between his. The difference in size was prominent, but they both let out giggles over it. The leader's giggles were so pretty, he was beautiful too. He was a true masterpiece created by the heavens above them. 

Suddenly, a soft hand brushed against his cheek and then traveled to his long, curly and tangled hair. His cheeks started to become pink and he was started to run out of breath when the leader smiled at him once more. "Woah. . . You really are a pretty one. Oh, and those wings!"

Kai smiled and looked down shyly. "T-Thank you. . ." He mumbled realizing that his cheeks were heating up and that heart was pounding like crazy, it was very similar to the way it did whenever. . .

He turned his head around, gazing over at his friends but mainly at Soobin. The older caught Kai's stare, so Soobin smiled at him before blowing him a kiss. Due to the flying kiss striking his chest and pierce through his heart, Kai erased the smile on his face and turned away from the older in a panic. "O-Okay, Jimin-Sunbaenim! I-I'm ready."

Jimin arched his brow and shook his head at the two youngsters before speaking once more. "Alright, come on. Our tribe is this way."

Kai bit his lip and gulped slightly before forcing his feet to walk forward after his leader between the rocks and the scarce greenery that the mountain held.

Soobin stared after Kai, tip-toeing and stretching his neck to make sure that Kai had gone away safely with his leader when the rocks began to block his vision. After the younger was gone, Soobin let out a sigh; he already felt like something within him was missing, but he forgot about the feeling when Taehyun called him.

"Ayo, Fishie!" The younger held onto Yeonjun's shoulder as the older bend down and let him hop onto his back. After making sure that he was holding Taehyun piggyback-style, Yeonjun looked at Soobin and tilted his head at him. "Are you coming to see your tribe or not?

Soobin laughed and finally began to follow them. "I can't wait to go and meet them."
