THE MERCURIAL ??

"Duncan Willow.....that sounds like a vampire name...."

Luke remarked, wondering about who this new guy is.

"Yeah, it is a pretty cool name...who is this guy anyway? Is he someone from The Mercurial?"

Ella inquired, turning her head slightly to the side in curiosity

"No....he is actually.....how to say this...."

Lucy looks at Logan as if waiting for his approval, which seemed strange.

"He is someone who hates The Mercurial and is always trying to rile up a trouble inside. He acts alone and has his own followers."

Logan explains, getting up

"So he is with us then? Isn't that a good thing?"

Luke asked,

"Well....not quite. As Logan said, he acts alone so he isn't exactly with us as well."

Lucy pours water for herself, she was now trying to sober up

"Then should we add him to the list of suspects that might have told baldy about Iris's dad and the USB?"

Luke opened up the list on his iPad, looking at Lucy for her to agree so he could type his name down

"No, I'll handle him."

Logan said, who was wearing his jacket like he was about to leave

"Are you leaving already?"

Ella and everyone else also got up

"You will not handle him because I will take care of this. I'll use the other CCTV footage to track him back and where there is a blind spot, I'll personally go check it out, no need to worry."

Lucy retorted with confidence

"What's so special about this guy anyway?"

Ella's brows snapped together and a frown appeared on her face

"Well, we don't really want to put him in the list because he might be helpful to us in the future considering how we both have a common enemy. That is why I think, talking to him will be better, after we find his location."

Lucy glanced up the ceiling, a habit she had when she lied. Others did not know of her particular habit so they believed her to be telling the truth. She didn't want to lie but she had her own reasons. They did not want to fight against this guy because someone deep down still considered him to be a good guy. Her eyes fell on Logan while thinking this.

"Okay then...I'm going back, Night..."

Logan gives a small wave and leaves. Soon they all hear his car starting and driving away.

"Iris, do you know anything about this guy?"

Iris who was silent and deep in thoughts ever since this guy was mentioned, was brought back from her thoughts by Ella who shook her by the shoulder

"Huh? I'm sorry what did you just say?"

She blinked,

"You okay?"

Luke asked

"I'm fine. Drinks got to my head. Anyways, I think I should probably head home as well. It's late.."

Iris starts to wear her coat after putting her glass down. She glances at the laptop and then at Lucy,

"Is it okay if I can take that home? I have trouble sleeping at night so I can do the surveilling...since I haven't done it yet..."
