That only made Kai feel even more shy, so much that he opened his wings and wrapped them around himself like a small dove trying to cover itself from the warm rays of the sun.

"Y-You d-did?"

"Why of course!" Jimin giggled cutely. "It was obvious. Plus," The leader moved his hand to the side of his head and brushed his soft blonde hair behind his ear to reveal a beautiful pearl-encrusted earring.

The jewelry shone brightly against the sun's light, making the earring look even more mesmerizing than one would think. "I know a lot about syrens."

Kai let out a gasp, his wings moved away from his body and stretched to either side when a new sense of curiosity pushed his embarrassment to the side. "You. . . You. . ."

Jimin nodded and let out a lovestruck sigh at the memories of his own courting. "They're very romantic, it's hard not to fall for them." He reached out for Kai's hands and held them between his while looking at the apprentice with a warm affectionate gaze. "Syrens don't usually wander out of the water to start courting a creature that lives so far away from them. . . You must be very special to him, my little Kai."

Great, now his heart was ready to grow some wings and jump out of his chest to flutter with joy.

If what Jimin was saying was true. . . Then tonight was going to be even more special than he thought.

"Soobin you're terrible at this."

"Well Minho, if you haven't noticed yet, I CAN'T DANCE." The 19-year old unwrapped his hands from Minho's waist and swam away to hide behind Lia.

Minho let a current push him.onto the sand, he turned to side and held his head with his hand as if he was just casually talking about the weather. "Well, that's why I'm preparing you!" He lifted his leg, casually hitting Hyunjin's nose by accident. "Do you wanna win a kiss or not-"

"KISS?!" Soobin screeched to everyone's dismay. "W-What do you m-mean 'kiss'?!" He began to blabber, his heart pounded rapidly at the thought of connecting his lips to the younger's. I mean, he liked the idea of that, but oh was he terrified. "We can't kiss! Don't you know how pure is? We've never even kissed before-- OH MY GOD I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO KISS-"

"I'll teach you!"

Everyone's eyes got fixed on Minho. A minute of silence was given for the comment to sink in and let everyone wonder why the older had to be as promiscuous as a monkey, specially when he talked so dearly about how lovely his own Promise was.

The stares he got suddenly made Minho retaliate. He cleared his throat and nodded at Soobin. "Just pout your lips, connect them to that talking seagull and just let your heart do all the work." He said as if it was the simplest thing to do in the island and as if Soobin wasn't already panicked enough.

And of course, like any other creature that knew that Kai was still an apprentice, Minho gave Soobin a strong and somewhat threatening glare. "You need to be responsible and not get too carried away though. You don't want to end up with an accidental bond tying your soul to Seagull's when none of you are ready for it."

"His name is Kai-"

"SAME THING."

Soobin pinched the bridge of his nose, the words that Minho shared seeped into his skull and reminded him of the similar words that Yeonjun had used to warn him about not disturbing what was left of Kai's innocence.
