In A Matter Of Seconds [Under Editing]

Chapter 1

Somehow, Emely managed to fall asleep even with the man's loud snoring and the kicking behind her. She was woken up by the feeling of the wheels touching the wheels, indicating she had arrived to Central City. She grabbed her bags and eagerly made her way toward baggage claim. She saw a suitcase decorated all crazily and knew it was hers because Alexis, Rachel and Emely decorated black suitcases so she knew which ones were here.

Emely headed out, realizing she had no idea where S.T.A.R Labs was and no way to get there. She saw taxis waiting on the street so she walked over to one and knocked on the window.

"Hi, do you know where S.T.A.R. Labs is?" He nodded.

"Hop in." So she did as he said and they took off.

"Where you from?" Emely looked at the him through the rear view mirror

"New York." He looked surprised

"Why do you look so shocked?" He smiled

"Because you're the first person ever to reply to that question." She smiled

"I'm not like most people." He nodded

They spent the whole ride talking and didn't realize they had gotten to S.T.A.R Labs.

"Thank you so much." She handed him a tip.

"No problem. Take care." Emely told him goodbye and made her way inside. The ride in the elevator wasn't that bad and she made her way down the long hallway it led her to.

She was almost there when she heard Poker Face by Lady Gaga start to play.

"I love this song." Two people stared back at her as she stood at the entrance of the room.

"Who are you?" She looked at the guy with long hair

"I'm Emely. Emely Hart." He nodded.

"I'm Cisco Ramon. That's Dr. Caitlin Snow." Emely smiled at Caitlin and Cisco.

"So what part is this?" Emely looked around the room.

"This is the Cortex, Ms. Hart." She turned to face none other than Dr. Harrison Wells.

"Dr. Wells- Dr. Harrison Wells. It's so nice to meet you." He shook her hand.

"What bring you to S.T.A.R. Labs?" He looked at Emely

"I wanted to talk to you about the particle accelerator." He nodded.

He began to explain how it worked and then how it all came crashing down. He showed Emely around S.T.A.R. Labs some more before ending up back at the Cortex.

"And that's how we have him." Emely followed Dr. Wells' gaze to see a guy on a bed hooked to an I.V bag.

Emely's heart raced. She'd never seen a guy so attractive.

"His name is Barry Allen. Struck by lightning 9 months ago and has been in a coma ever since." Caitlin appeared next to Emely

"Are his vitals okay?" Caitlin nodded.

"They're okay." Emely took in all of Barry's details.

He had brown hair that was kind of swept up. He had lips that were pink. He had some freckles that continued down to his neck and torso. She also noticed he had abs. Very nice ones...

He suddenly shot up from the table which made her jump.

"Barry." His eyes settled on Emely and she noticed he had green eyes.

"Who are you? Where am I?" He looked around the Cortex with his eyes before looking back to Emely.

"I'm Emely Hart. You're at S.T.A.R Labs. That's Cisco Ramon and Dr. Caitlin Snow. Are you okay?" He nodded

"I wanna get up." Emely walked over to him and helped him up

"What happened?" He held onto her hand as he walked a bit.

"You were struck by lightning dude." He looked at Emely

"Is that true?" She nodded

He looked into a mirror thing and saw his reflection.

"Lightning gave me abs?" Emely nodded.

"And very nice ones indeed." Barry looked down at her.

"I mean..." Emely looked at Caitlin who had cocked and eyebrow and Cisco had a grin on his face.

She looked back up at Barry before walking over to Cisco, her cheeks heating up in embarrassment.

"Come here." Barry walked over and sat in a chair.

"You were in a coma." Emely saw Barry's green eyes widened

"Really? For how long?" Emely opened her mouth to reply but someone else beat her to it

"9 months." She turned to find Dr. Wells again.

"Welcome back Mr. Allen. We have a lot to discuss."
