"What exactly happened?"

"I don't know. She ran after me when I went after a black car. I told her to stay with Iris."

"Who was in the car? Were the cops after him?"

"The cops were after him, yes. He produced fog and that's how I lost Emely."

Emley groaned as she felt that headache again. The short girl moved her head from side to side, trying to relieve the pain.

"Emely!" She rubbed her temples, seeing as moving her head wasn't helping

She felt warm hands move hers and start to rub her temples. She started to lean against a hard thing which seem to be moving. She assumed it was a chest, but who's chest was it?

"Open your eyes, Emely."

She did as they told me and had a face full of shirt. She looked up to see freckles, a lot of them, which gave her a hint of who it was. Her assumptions were accurate when she saw green eyes boring into her blue eyes.

"I was so worried about you. Why did you run after me? Are you okay?" Caitlin sat Barry back down on the chair beside Emely.

The young doctor handed some medicine for the short brunette to take and a bottle of water.

"Barry, let's let Emely explain what happened." Barry sighed and nodded.

"There was a car chase. Two cop cars and one black car. One of those cop cars was about to crash into Iris, Barry and I so Barry tackled us away. Barry told me to stay with Iris and he sped off. Iris then asked where Barry went so I told her that I would find him. I ran after him and saw him bleeding from his head. He was in the middle of the street with the other guy. I yelled out to Barry and he saw me and shook his head. The other guy saw me and gripped me. He let me go shortly after and then produced fog everywhere. I tried to call out for Barry but he never responded. I saw a speeding car heading towards me and there was a car in front of it. I would've moved but I was too late. The speeding car crashed and there was an explosion which sent me flying and that's when I hit my head. Barry found me and raced me back here. I tried to tell Barry that him running made my head hurt even more. Then, at one point, I just passed out."

"I'm just glad you're okay." The short brunette nodded at Caitlin.

Barry stood up and went by Emely's side. "Try not to risk your life again, okay? I was really worried about you."

Emely sighed. "You did that today, with the guy who produced fog. You risked your life."

"That's different. I was trying to help he police catch the guy." She scoffed

"I was told to protect you. That's why I went after you. I needed to know that you were safe. Also, Iris doesn't know about this new found power, does she?" Barry sighed

"It's better that she doesn't know. Joe wouldn't want me to tell her." She nodded.

Barry helped Emely out of the tubes and helped her up.

"Barry." He looked down at her.

"I don't think you're the only one who was affected by the explosion." He nodded

Emley walked out of the room into the Cortex.

"What really happened that night? This...fog man is proof that Barry wasn't the only one affected by the explosion." Dr. Wells took off his glasses.

"The dimensional barrier erupted which unleashed unknown energies into our world- Anti matter, dark energy, x-elements." Emely furrowed her eyebrows
