In A Matter Of Seconds [Under Editing]

Emely laid in her and Barry's bed and stared at the ceiling.

"Hey, baby." Emely heard Barry come into the room.

"What?"

"Baby, I get that you're worried about Eddie, but we'll find him."

"I know. I just have a lot of things on my mind right now." Barry placed his head in the crook of her neck.

"Then tell me."

So she did.

Everything that was on her mind, that was bothering her, she told him.

"We'll find Eddie. As for what Joe said, I love you and I always will. Plus, Gideon didn't say in what year it happens. It could happen a long time from now."

"Or it could happen sooner than we anticipated."

"I love you. No matter what." Emely turned to face him.

"And I love you." They shared a kiss before heading to S.T.A.R Labs.

"Joe just called. The Central City gold reserve is about to transport $300 million in gold bars to their Coast City vault. Singh told Joe they think that the man in the mask is gunna make a play for it."

"Okay, but we still don't know if he's responsible for those weird images you saw." Emely made a mental note to ask Barry about that later.

"How are they transporting the gold?"

Minutes later, Emely found herself with Joe and another cop in the back of the ice-cream truck. There soon was an explosion at the back of the truck, making the truck swerve to a stop.

"Whoa, the truck just got hit by a landmine." Barry was racing down the streets to get to it.

"Are Emely and Joe okay?"

We don't know yet."

The masked man began to shot at cops, taking them out. He shot at Emely and it hit her on the leg.

"Emely!" Barry finally arrived and knocked the masked man against the truck.

"You okay?" Joe nodded

"Yeah, but she's not." Barry rushed to his girlfriend's side.

"Baby, you okay?"

"It hurts." Barry placed a kiss on her temple.

"We'll get to S.T.A.R Labs shortly. First, we find out who this man is." Joe pulled off the mask.

"Eiling?"

Barry took Joe, Emely and Eiling back to S.T.A.R Labs and put Eiling in the pipeline. They found out that Eiling was actually missing for 3 months and A.R.G.U.S was covering that up.

"Do you remember me?" Emely glanced at Eiling for a response

"Flash." Emely widened her eyes

"General Eiling-"

"Eiling not here. Eiling bad." Emely looked at Barry with a confused expression

"Maybe it's some kind of psychotic break presenting itself as dissociative identity disorder?"

"Caitlin. Caitlin good." Emely sensed something off about the way he spoke.

"It's not an identity disorder. The way his voice sounds, the way he speaks, is way too weird."

"You guys have seen The Exorcist, right?"

"You and your movies." Emely thought for a moment.
