In A Matter Of Seconds [Under Editing]

Chapter 30

"I'm just glad I know now." Emely blushed and looked at Caitlin. 

"Looks like you're going to be fine. I'll give you some pain medication to take once every day and night." Emely nodded.

"Thanks." Barry stood up

"Where are you going, stud muffin?" Barry raised an eyebrow

"Stud muffin?" 

"Too much?" Barry smiled.

"No, I kinda like it." Emely giggled.

"I'm going to talk to Tony." Emely stopped smiling.

"Barry." He sighed.

"I have to." Emely sat up.

"Let me come." Barry looked at her.

"Please, Barry. Let me come with you." He sighed again.

"Fine. You can come." Emely grabbed Barry's hand and led him down to the pipeline. 

"Aye, Bully McBullyson." Tony noticed Emely.

"Why are you here?" Emely stepped aside to reveal Barry.

"Allen?" Emely nodded.

"That's right. The kid you used to bully is now a crime fighting meta who just beat your ass to hell." Barry placed his hand on Emely's arm, and shook his head. 

"The thing that happened to you happened to me too. But it didn't just give us abilities. It made us more of who we are. You got strong. I got fast. Fast enough to beat you. You used your gift to hurt people. Not anymore." 

Tony began to yell as Barry and Emely walked away. When the door was closed, Emely turned to kiss Barry. He happily returned the favor. 

"I'm so proud of you. You finally won this time." Barry smiled as he kissed Emely one last time. 

The 4 of them walked out. 

"I couldn't have done it without you guys. I wouldn't have gotten Emely or Iris safe." Emely hugged Barry. 

"I'll always be okay. As long as I have you and my family." Emely smiled at Cisco and Caitlin.

"Aweh, we're family. Group hug!" The 4 of them did just that. 

"Which childhood bully are we gunna take down next?" Barry looked at Emely and Caitlin.

"How about we be glad that we have time before the next meta arrives?" Caitlin nodded.

"She's right. We don't usually get any time to ourselves in between meta-humans." Emely pushed Barry.

"Let's go, cupcake. We have some Netflix and Chilling to do. Mostly Netflixing and maybe kissing or maybe just sleeping during Netflixing." Emely winked at Cisco and Caitlin before Barry picked her up and sped her home. 

"Emely?" She turned to him

"Yeah?" He crashed his lips onto hers 

He helped her jump before placing her on the couch. Emely felt the remote and smiled in the kiss. She grabbed the remote and turned her head, making Barry kiss her cheek instead. 

"Netflix time." Barry groaned into her neck. 

"Next time, bebz." Barry smiled at her

"I like that one better." Emely patted his cheek.

"Of course you do." Barry shook his head with a smile on his face. 

What can he do? He really likes her. Even though she's childish at times...
