In A Matter Of Seconds [Under Editing]

Chapter 32

Caitlin did as Dr. Wells told her and brought Emely to the treadmill.

Barry's heart shattered as he saw his girlfriend bleeding and her body limp 

"Is she gunna be okay?" Caitlin sighed.

"She's lost a lot of blood. I grabbed what I could." Caitlin grabbed some tweezers, and some disinfectant to wipe the blood. 

"She's gunna need more than this." Emely faintly had her eyes open.

"Barry?" Barry held Emely close.

"I'm here, baby. You're gunna be okay?" Emely rested her head against his shoulder as she slipped into unconsciousness. 

Caitlin looked up and noticed Farooq was right outside. Barry looked and noticed him too, so they hid against the door. 

Barry held Emely's limp hand as they waited for something to happen. The lights suddenly came back on and they came out.

"Turn on the treadmill and then help Emely." Caitlin stopped.

"Caitlin!" 

"I can't." Barry sighed. 

"We don't have a choice." 

"If I turn this on, it could kill you." Barry looked at Emely. 

"If you don't, we could all die. And so could Emely." 

"I already lost someone I cared about in this building. I can't do it again." He turned to her. 

"Listen. Someone once told me that I was struck by that lightning for a reason. That is chose me. I'm not sure I believe it. Right now, it doesn't matter what I believe." Barry gripped the handle on the treadmill.

"What do you believe?" Caitlin looked at Barry then at Emely. 

She turned on the treadmill and waited until Barry went flying. 

"It didn't work." Barry got up and brought Emely into the Cortex. 

"Help her, please." Caitlin looked at Barry and saw desperation in his eyes as wel as worry.

Caitlin quickky began to stick needles in her body and hooked it up to the monitor. She began to clean the wounds and took the bullets out and wrapped her arm and leg after cleaning them. She was okay. She was still alive but lost some blood. 

"Barry. Let's go." Barry sighed and nodded.

"Baby, I'll be back." Barry pressed a kiss to Emely's lips before leaving with Caitlin. 

Barry and Caitlin found Tony who had been hurt.

"Tony. Tony, what are you doing?" Tony looked at Barry

"You know me, Allen. I never run from a fight." Tony was bleeding from his face.

"Tony, stay with me, alright? You're good." 

"Run." Tony's body began leaning down to the floor.

"Tony." Tony had settled on the floor, dead. 

Cailtin gasped as she saw Farooq coming for them. 

"Barry." She grabbed Barry's arm and they ran away. 

They found Cisco and hid with him.

"How's Emely? Did you help her?" Caitlin nodded. 

"She's fine. I hope she doesn't wake up until it's all over."

Emely groaned and noticed she was alone.

"Hello?" She glanced down at her arm and leg.

Caitllin was here and had cleaned her cuts. Emely unhooked everything and walked into the hallway. 

"Hello?" She began walking. 

She walked and walked until she heard a noise. 

"Barry?" She walked closer to it. 

She found the source of the noise and saw a man who looked dangerous. She quietly gasped and walked the way she came. She went another way and found a door opened. 

"Barry?" 

Barry stopped talking when he heard his name.

"Caitlin?" Caitlin looked at Barry before heading out into the hallway. 

When she walked out, she saw Emely.

"You're okay." Caitlin hugged the shorter girl.

Caitlin walked back in with Emely behind her. 

"Emely." Barry went over to her and kissed her.

Emely wrapped her arms around his neck as Barry wrapped his arms around her waist to bring her closer. 

"I was so worried about you." Barry hugged her and rested his chin on the top of her head. 

"When they told me you were shot, I felt like I needed my power back to save you." Emely smiled.

"I'm okay now, and so are you. All of you." Barry nodded.

"And we can get through this together."
