Cassie's POV

No.  Jethro and I were not an item.  Just like Aubrey and Blake, Jethro and I became close friends.

"Urgh! How many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me that.  I know I'm fat, but I am not a pig!"

Jethro leaned and whispered to my ear, "You are not fat, babe.  Those are what you call curves on the right places. Care to show me more of your hidden curves later?"

"Eeew, Jethro, that's gross.  Do you use those lines to all the girls you've dated? No wonder all your girlfriends were sluts."

"That hurts... If I didn't know better, I would say that you're just jealous because I am not dating you."

"In your dreams, manwhore..." and then I hurriedly turned my back to him.

I sat on the bench on the campus park and couldn't help but to feel sad. I don't know how long I sat there until I've noticed someone sitting beside me.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Blake asked.

"He is right you know." I suddenly said.

Blake looked at me quizically.

"Jethro is right." I continued.  I couldn't held the tears in my eyes.  "I'm jealous with all the girls he dated. I like him... a lot.  Unfortunately, he likes girls with boobs bigger than their brains.  And I'm definitely not like that."

Blake laughs.  "You really are something Cassie.  Only you can say that while crying.  Jethro is an idiot for not realizing how amazing you are. And for the record... if your brain is bigger than your boobs, i couldn't imagine how big your brain is."

"Eeeww, Blake! You're such a perv." I smiled.

"See, you're prettier when you smile. Don't worry, we'll make Jethro realize how stupid he is."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

"Where's Aubrey by the way?" I asked.

"Going shopping with her sister.  Didn't she tell you?"

"I forgot my phone at home."

Blake stood up and held my hand.  "Come on."

"Where are we going?"

"Shopping.  Operation: Date Jethro starts today."

"I don't want to go shopping with you.  I'll just call Aubrey. Maybe I can follow them to the mall."

"Um, okay.  Here's my phone.  Call her."

I get his phone and dialled Aubrey's number. After several rings, "Hi, babe." she answered, panting.

"Hi girl.  It's me. Are you alright?"

"Um, yeah.  What's up?"

"I heard that you and your sister are shopping today.  I was wondering if I could join you?"

"Uuhhhmmm... Cassie... I'm sorry but you can't.  Just ask Blake to go with you.  Uh... hmmm...."

"Aubrey?"

"I'll explain later, okay? UuUhh..... Shiiit... Bye!" and then she hang up.

I returned the phone to Blake.

"She said I can't go with them. Maybe they want some alone time together.  It's been a long time since Aubrey and her sister saw each other."

Blake looked at me, sensing my distress.  "Are you ok?"

"Yeah." I couldn't look into his eyes.  I have a feeling that Aubrey is not shopping. I bet she's not even dressed at the moment, but I cannot tell Blake.  I hope I can put some sense into Aubrey next time we talk.

"I think its better if I go home."

"Come on. I'll give you a ride."

"No, it's alright.  I would rather walk home."

"You sure, you're okay?"

"Yeah. Thanks." I tried to smile at him one more time, and then I left.
