I would like to thank you all for reading my story. I have 199 reads as of this moment... It may be a little compared to a hundred thousand reads that other books have, but it certainly means a million to me.
This is the first time I have written a story. Writing a story is one of the things included on my bucket list... for it to be published online and having it read by others is a "bonus".
Please continue to read Cassie and Blake's story until the remaining chapters.
Also, special thanks to Cuemae Audrae for the cover...
Aubrey's POV (at last...)
It's Friday, but I am not in the mood to go out. Max, who is one of Blake and Jethro's friend, decided to stay with me for the night. We were on a couch, eating popcorn while watching a movie. He finds the movie boring, so from time to time, he was checking his Facebook account from his phone.
"Whoa!" He suddenly said.
"What?" I asked him.
"Blake introduced Cassie to his parents." He sounded amused, which I find irritating.
I paused the movie and turned to him, "What's amusing about that?!"
Max looks like he was trying not to laugh. "Imagine, they were only together for what, a week... and he already introduced her to his family. He really must be whipped."
I glare at Max. "It's not funny. I'm sure it was Cassie's idea. She just used her "I am so innocent" act to make Blake agree with her."
"Blake is not the type who can be forced to do something he didn't like. You, of all people, should know that. After all, you were the one who kept asking Blake to bring you to his house."
"Damn him...How could he do this?!"
"Why didn't you just accept the fact that they love each other and move on?"
"I can't... It's Cassie... Of all people, why her?!"
"You know Aubrey, I think you are not mad because you still love Blake or because you felt betrayed by your 'supposedly bestfriend', Cassie... You are fuming with anger because you can't accept the fact that he replaced you with Cassie. Cassie, who, according to you, is nothing. But let me tell you this... Personally, I find Cassie hot."
" Don't tell me you also want her?" I raised my eyebrow at him.
"Of course not. You know that there is only one girl whom I wanted..." Then Max pulled me into his lap and started kissing my neck.
I couldn't help but moan.
"You know that it's you whom I always wanted, Aubrey. I missed you..." He whispered to me while biting my ear lobe. "Now... why don't you just forget about Blake and Cassie... Be a good girl and let us do once again what we did in Baguio." He began kissing me while his hand was busy unbuttoning my blouse.
I was so turned on that I forgot everything about Cassie and Blake... The next thing I knew, our clothes ended up on the floor, just like what happened in Baguio last summer.
I looked at Max's sleeping form. I must admit, he is handsome. Maybe not as handsome as Blake, but boy, he looks... delicious... He's a real bad ass... He always likes to be in control. Perhaps that's the reason why I find him attractive. Yes... he was with me in Baguio last summer. The summer when I told Blake that I would visit my sick grandma and I didn't want him to come with me. And yes... I cheated on Blake...have been cheating on him since then. I know I shouldn't get mad at both him and Cassie. In a way, Blake's better than me because he had a decency to end things between us before he came to Cassie - unlike me... Still staring at Max, I remember how our affair happened...
