Cassie's POV
An hour after I talked to Aubrey, a new message from Blake appeared on my phone.
Blakey: Would you like to hang out with us later?
Me: Us who?
Blakey: Boys with their plus one...
and then another message came after
Blakey: You are my plus one.
Me: Me? Why, where's Aubrey?
Blakey: She'll be gone for Baguio tomorrow morning. Didn't she tell you again?
I decided to call Aubrey. After a few rings, she answered.
"Hi Cass."
"Is it true that you're leaving for Baguio tomorrow?"
"Yes."
"Your granny is sick?"
"Yes."
"And you'll travel alone?"
"No. I'm with someone, and I can't tell you the details right now."
"Aubrey, you are aware that you're cheating on Blake, and he'll feel hurt and betrayed once he knows everything, right?"
"Yes. That's why I don't want to give you the details. I do not want you to keep more lies from Blake."
"Wow, how considerate. But Aubrey..."
"Cass please... I'm a big girl. I know what I'm doing. Please, just be happy for me."
"Alright." I sighed. "Take care and text me everyday, ok?"
"Thank you. And Cass, can you go with Blake to the bar later?"
"Do I have a choice?" I asked irritated.
"None. Thanks again Cass. Bye!" Aubrey sounded excited.
"Bye."
After I hang up, I texted Blake.
Me: Ok. I'll go.
Blakey: Great. I'll pick you up at 10.
Me: Ok. See you in a few.
I put down my phone and started to get ready for the night.
I know a woman could never go wrong choosing a Little Black Dress for a night like this.
I paired my LBD with a 3-inch red pumps and a red purse.
I put on a little make-up and curled my hair.
When I look at the mirror, the girl looking at me seems different - different, yet familiar. My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the doorbell.
"I'm coming." I grab my purse and opened the door.
