Chapter 23 - Aubrey's Little Secret

Flashback: A week before summer vacation

I was finishing a project for my Multimedia subject with my groupmates Michelle and Max when my phone rang. It was Blake.

"Hi babe." I answered.

"Babe... I'm sorry I can't pick you up today. Mom asked me to do some errands for her. I have to go to my aunt's house to get something."

"Why don't you just pick me up first, I'll go with you to your aunt's house, then we'll hang out to your house after."

"I can't, babe... I hope you understand, but I don't think that's a good idea."

"And why not?! We've been together for three years and until now you haven't introduced me to your parents. I want to meet them, Blake. I want them to know me as your girlfriend."

"Not now, babe, some other time, maybe."

"You know what? Never mind... If you don't want me to meet your family, fine! Bye Blake!"

When I hang up, Michelle and Max were both looking at me. Max had a worried look on his face.

"Are you okay?" Max asked.

"Yeah... I'm okay. Let's just finish this." I said, still feeling irritated.

Just like Blake and I, Michelle and Max have been together since our first year. Blake, Jethro, and Max were friends since high school. You can say that Michelle and I became friends only because of our boyfriends. I didn't like Michelle at all. I was only tolerating her because of this stupid project. It was already 9 in the evening when we finished. Max offered to give me a ride home. Since I am on the way to Max's house, he decided to drive home Michelle first before he took me home.

When we arrived at our house, my parents were not around so I decided to invite Max over. I didn't know what came over me, but as soon as I closed the door, I kissed Max hungrily. He seemed taken aback at first, but he began to kiss me back soon after. We ended up in my room, both without clothes, discovering each other's body.

When we're finished, I tried to get up but Max stopped me. "Where are you going?"

"I'm getting dressed. This is wrong, Max. This is all wrong." I said, picking up my clothes.

Max pulled me to bed. His hand is travelling up my thigh while kissing my bare shoulders. His hand stopped when he reached my core. "What's wrong, Aubrey?" He whispered, then he began to insert his fingers to my wetness... "Tell me, Aubrey, is this wrong?" he repeated.

"No... Uhhh... Y-yes..." I couldn't think right. His kisses and his touch are doing wonders in my body. "Oh... shit, Max... don't stop..." I moaned.

That night, Max made me experience the pleasure that I never knew existed. We were in bed until the next day... the day when I told Blake I went shopping with my sister. It was noon when I received a call from Blake's phone. Max and I were making out.

Ring... ring... ring...

"Maaxx.... I have to answer this. Blake will get suspicious."

"Answer the phone, don't mind me." He didn't stop kissing me. Instead, his hands are everywhere, touching me.

I answered the phone... "Hi, babe." I answered the phone, panting.

"Hi girl. It's me. Are you alright?" Thank God it was only Aubrey on the other line. I couldn't let Blake know about this.

"Um, yeah. What's up?"

"I heard that you and your sister are shopping today. I was wondering if I could join you?" she said.

And then I felt Max inside of me..."Uuhhhmmm... Cassie... I'm sorry but you can't. Just ask Blake to go with you. Uh...hmmm..." Max began to increase his pace.

"Aubrey?" I heard Cassie say. My mind is not with Cassie anymore.

"I'll explain later, okay? UuUhh... Shiiit... Bye!" I hang up, and then I let Max bring me to ecstasy once again.

It was also that day when Max and I decided to go to Baguio for our some "us" time. I didn't know what he told Michelle, but I told Blake I'm going to Baguio because my granny was sick. Max even went out to the bar with Michelle, Jethro, Blake, and Cassie that night to avoid any suspicion. I almost told the truth to Cassie, but I stopped myself. I knew she would convince me to tell Blake the truth. I was not ready to lose Blake yet. This is new to me. I just have to enjoy Max's company for a while. After this... when sex is not as good as before anymore... I know we will go back to our own partner's arms. He, with Michelle and I, with Blake.

Present

Max woke up from his sleep.

"Hey... Are you okay?" he asked.

"Yeah. I was just thinking of how I could destroy Cassie and Blake's relationship." I lied.

"Oh..." Max looked disappointed but didn't speak at all. He got out of bed and went to the bathroom to shower.

I may be bad for planning revenge on Cassie and Blake, knowing that I was the one who first cheated, but I can't let them be happy. Not if I am miserable... Max may be here with me for now, but I know one day, he will leave me for Michelle. I am just a sex partner for him. Nothing more, nothing less.
