Chapter 27 - In love with Blake

After lunch, we decided to go back to the hotel room to rest for a while.  The dolphin show in the Ocean Adventure, just beside our resort, is at 4:00 PM.  Cassie went to the bathroom to shower.  I decided to watch TV while I waited for her to finish.  I’m still sleepy and a little tired because of the drive.  I wasn’t aware that my eyes voluntarily closed, and I fell asleep.

It was already dark when I woke up.  When I looked at my phone, it’s already 6:30 in the evening.  I hurriedly get off the bed.  “Shit! We’re late.”

Cassie, who is reading beside me we’re startled with my sudden movement.  “Hey… how’s your sleep?”

“Why didn’t you wake me up?  We weren’t able to watch the show at 4.”

“It’s okay.  I asked the staff at the front desk to rebook our tickets tomorrow at 8.”

“I’m sorry, angel.  I didn’t mean to sleep.  I was just too sleepy and tired.” 

He gave me a peck and said, “It’s alright.  There’s still a show tomorrow.  Besides, we can stay here until Monday.   It’s a school holiday on Monday, remember?”

“Thank you for understanding.”  I kissed her forehead.

“Hey, it’s not a big deal.  I’m glad that you’ve rested.  Now, why don’t you take a shower and let’s have dinner.  I’m already hungry.”  She smiled at me, and I smiled back.  She is always hungry.  I wonder why she hasn’t gained any single pound with the way she’s eating.  I go to the bathroom to shower.

While in the shower, I couldn’t help but compare her to Aubrey.  If she was Aubrey, she’ll give me hell for ruining our plans by sleeping.  Thank God she’s… Cassie.  I really am lucky to have her.  I am very much in love with her. I have no plans of letting her go.  She is the only one I want to be with for the rest of my life.

We drove to the city to look for a place to eat.  We settled on eating Japanese for a change.  I’ve noticed that Cassie is quiet during the dinner.

“Hey, is there something wrong?”  I asked her worriedly.

“No.  Maybe I’m just tired.”

“Would you like to go to the hotel room right after dinner?”

“I’d like to walk along the beach…if it’s alright with you.”

“Of course it is.  Are you sure you’re okay?”

“Yeah.  Thanks.” She smiled at me, but it seemed that her smile didn’t reach her eyes.  I hope she’ll open up to me at the beach tonight.

We are at the beach walking hand-in-hand.  I remembered I had to ask her something.

“Cass…” I broke our silence.

“Yeah?”

“Why do you always say you’re in love with me, instead of saying, “I love you too”?

Cassie stopped walking, and she faced me.  Our faces were inches apart, and he held my two hands.  She looked into my eyes and said, “Because I may love all my friends, but there’s only one man that I am in love with…. that is you Blake…  I am so in love with you.”  and then I saw tears in her eyes.

“Don’t cry.”  I wiped her tears.  “I’m madly in love with you too.  You’re the only one I want to spend the rest of my life with.  I promise that I’m not going to hurt you.”

But she just kept on sobbing.  I hugged her tight and kissed the top of her head. “Sssshhh… I’m here.  I promise, I’m always here for you but for now I want you to promise me one thing.” 

She looked at me quizzically.

“I want you to promise me that if you’re ready to tell the world who you are, you will let me on your side, holding your hand.” I continued.

She nodded, hugged me tight, and whispered, “I promise.”

It’s almost midnight when we went back to our room.  I showered while Cassie unpacked our bags and put our clothes in the built-in closet.  Cassie went to the bathroom right after I showered.  I was watching TV while she bathed.  When she got out of the bathroom, she’s heading to the closet to get her clothes.  She’s only in a towel, and I couldn’t help but imagine what’s underneath.  I only saw her back as she was getting her clothes from the closet.  I came closer to her.  I see the bareness of her shoulders.  I touched her shoulders, and she seemed tense.  I began to kiss her from her neck to her shoulders.  I heard her moan, so I turned her around to face me.  Our eyes met. Understanding what my eyes wanted to tell her, she nodded.  I kissed her hungrily, and she kissed me back.  She put her hand on my head, pulling me closer to her as I slipped my tongue into her mouth.  She kissed me with equal passion.  I untied the knot of her towel until it fell on the floor. 

“You are so beautiful.”  I exclaimed while staring at her naked body, I carried her to bed and kissed every inch  f her body.  Her moans only ignited the fire I was feeling.  I want to please her.  I want her to feel how much I love her.

“I want you, Blake...now…”  She whimpered.

After hearing that, I couldn’t control myself anymore. I entered her, and she eagerly welcomed my every thrust.  We’ve danced to the rhythm that only our bodies recognized until I couldn’t hold it anymore.  I filled her with my every essence.

I held Cassie tight and kissed her forehead.

“I love you so much angel…”  I lay beside her and pulled her closer to me.

“I’m so in love with you too, Blake.” she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
