It's All My Fault- (Octaven)

Raven's POV:

   Today, is the day that we will finally get to my surprise destination. I'm very excited for when we get there, I just know Octavia will love it.

   "Guys wake up! We're finally gonna get there today!" I happily yelled to my friends,all still sleeping in their car seats. I laugh when I hear them groaning and yawning. It was five o'clock in the morning, so I'm expecting them to be angry.

   "Raven, not all of us are morning people here," I can hear Clark say.

   "Ugh," is all Lexa managed to get out.

   I laugh at them and proceed to shake Octavia awake. Even though I can tell she's faking her sleep.

   "Octavia I know you're awake," I say when she doesn't open her eyes. "I can see you grinning," I laugh a little.

   "Okay okay, I'm up," she said and shifted in her seat. "Waking me up before the sun rises, is something I do not suggest doing again," Octavia said sarcastically.

   We all laugh. I then started the engine, and started to drive. Lexa managed to climb into the trunk an dig for anything we could eat for breakfast. It was five minutes of her bumping her head, tripping over herself, and struggling to look through our bags, until she finally found the food. We all cheered for her and giggled at ourselves.

   The drive today, was about four hours. It seemed to fly by because of all the fun we were having. Singing and dancing tour favorite songs. Making inside jokes. Embarrassing ourselves. Having conversations, that most of the time, didn't even make sense. It was great.

   When we were almost there I told everyone to close their eyes. When I parked, I realized the mistake I made. I had to get all four of them out of the car, and walk them over to the spot where I wanted. That was most certainly a process. Every five seconds, they were wondering into the street, bumping into each other, and walking into poles. It was actually amusing for me though.

   "Okay, you guys, open your eyes!" I excitedly stated.

   "Wow!" They all said at the same time. I had found one of those secret beaches to take them to. The water was clear and calm. The sun was shining in. It was beautiful.

   We all quickly got in the water and had more fun than the whole trip combined. We even found a rock that we could jump from. Everything was great.

   Soon enough, the sun began to set, and we all settled on a beach blanket and relaxed.

   Nyla convinced Clark and Lexa to have a sandcastle building contest, so they all ran off to get to work. So that just left me alone with Octavia yet again. And I was happy about it.

   "Raven, this was the best surprise ever. Thank you so much for getting Abby to let us go. This is the most fun I've ever had," Octavia said sincerely.

   We talked for awhile after that. And soon, it started to get cold. Octavia and I cuddled under one blanket and watched the sun going down.

   Octavia and I smiled at each other. I became lost looking into her eyes. She was more beautiful than the beach, or any sunset.

   Before I even knew what I was doing, I leaned in, and kissed her.
