Octavia's POV:

""I found other girls homes that would be willing to take you in,"

Abby's words, shot out like bullets. Although a part of me had known, I still had hope that we were wrong about this situation. But, of course, we weren't.

The car was dead silent. Lexa's eyes were wide, and her jaw was dropped. Clark had sad eyes, and it seemed she was holding her breath, waiting for someone to say something.

I turned to Raven. I wanted her to tell me we did the right thing. She didn't. She just starred out the windshield with a blank expression.

"When do we have to go?" Clarks shaking voice finally broke the silence.

"Tomorrow. Around three o'clock," Abby cleared her throat, "look, girls, I really wish I didn't have to do this. I love all of you. And trust me, none of you are to blame. But, with all of the hospital bills, car damage, and the funeral, I just can't afford it right now. And I was asked to find a new place for you all to stay," she finished.

"Abby, we aren't little kids anymore. You don't have to try to protect us from this kind of stuff. You should have talked to us. Maybe we could have done something," Lexa answered.

After that, it was quite again. I don't know what is going on in Raven's head. No one does. But, I am worried. She hasn't moved, or spoken in a good twenty minutes. And I can't take her not talking to me.

"Raven?" I whispered, "do you think we'll be okay?"

She turned to look at me. I gazed into her eyes as she spoke. It seemed that all the wonder and hope in them had faded to nothing.

"Don't worry. It can't get much worse,"

Authors note:

I'm back!

I'm so sorry I couldn't update yesterday. I had a family emergency. But I wanted to make sure I updated as soon as possible. I should be able to write more often now.

The next chapter should be a bit more interesting. So be ready...
