It's All My Fault- (Octaven)

Raven's POV:

Indra woke us up when she walked into the room.

"I hope I'm not disturbing you two, but I thought you'd like to know that we will be letting all of you go home tomorrow," she explained with a smile. "But if anything starts to bother you, Octavia, you need to get it checked out, right away," she concluded.

   Octavia smiled and nodded. "Thank you," she thanked Indra. If it hadn't been for her, who knows if Octavia would have made it?

   I sat up, swung my legs off the bed, and stood up yawning. "I should go tell Abby that we will be going tomorrow. I assume Indra will tell Clark and Lexa," I explained.

   "Okay," she replied. I could tell that she was excited to go home. Her smile hasn't left her face. She must be tired of being stuck in the same room.

With that, I walked out to find Abby. I went to a sitting area and saw her. She was on her phone, and clearly, not playing attention to anything around her.

I made my way to her, and looked over Abby's shoulder to read what was on her phone. I immediately wished that I hadn't. She'd been researching other orphanages.

   "Your sending us away," I said in utter disbelief. Tears filled my eyes. I knew that this would happen. I knew we wouldn't be able to afford everything. I just thought she would talk to me about it.

   She turned around to face me. "Raven, I-"

   I cut her off, "don't," I said turning away from Abby. I ran down the hallway, back to find Octavia's room.

   How would I tell her. She was so happy. Just as everything was starting to come together, it is starting to crumble to pieces again.

   I can't let this happen.
