When the Rains Changed

Taehyung had seen Jimin blush on multiple occasions. But at this moment, Jimin's cheeks could easily be mistaken for a tomato.

"Uh, um... I'm sort of seeing someone at the moment, he's Tae's flat mate."

"Oh" was all Yoongi said before standing up and going back to his workstation. His expression giving away nothing.

The other two followed him to pay for their ice creams but the older stopped them.

"No. It's my treat. It was good to meet you after so long Tae, I'll see you soon" the older gave the younger boys a surprisingly cute, gummy smile.

"Thanks hyung" Taehyung said dragging a still blushing Jimin out of the shop.

"What is the matter with you?!" Taehyung asked, tightly holding onto to Jimin's arm.

"What are you talking about?" Jimin was genuinely confused.

"All that blushing and giggling! What about Hoseok hyung?!"

This question immediately snatched Jimin's smile away.

He looked down at his feet, slightly guilty.

"I don't know Tae... me and Hobi... it's nothing more than sex. Everything is physical with no feelings attached. I'm not sure I want that in the long run."

"Well, have you spoken to him about it?"

"Actually, yes I have. And we have both decided if we do find someone we really love then we'll end whatever we have." Jimin couldn't bring himself to look at Taehyung.

"Hmm, just don't hurt each other. Or else it will all be a huge mess" Taehyung could understand what the other was going through so he put his arm around his shoulders to comfort the boy.

Jimin did feel better sharing his thoughts with Taehyung.

"Yoongi was kinda cute though!" he giggled and continued "I mean, the cute pastel pink shirt, the slightly messy mint green hair, that adorable smi—"

"Jimin! Stop. You don't know anything about him" Taehyung did not want Jimin to feel bad or not like Yoongi. But he knew he didn't want his friend to get hurt.

"What do you mean Tae? You are hiding something. How exactly do you know Yoongi?"

Taehyung knew it was best not to lie to Jimin.

"Yoongi is not exactly what he looked like today... anyways, he was my ex-boyfriend's best friend, he knows a lot about my past." Taehyung looked at Jimin with a pained expression, not wanting to think about the past. Jimin got the message. He didn't probe the younger anymore.
