"Get out of my house you little bitch!" Junho barked lifting Taehyung up from the floor and shoving him towards the door.

Taehyung knew he didn't have any other option. So he ran out of that dreadful house. Tears falling from his eyes uncontrollably.

It was dark and raining outside.

The cold raindrops helped soothe the pain of the fresh wounds.

His left eye felt heavy and swollen.

He was feeling dizzy.

But the rain was helping him focus.

The water engulfed him like a blanket. He felt protected.

When he was a child, there had been a terrible thunderstorm. He had run into his parents' room, terrified of the thunderstorm and that's when his mother had told him, "Whenever it rains, something good is about to happen, the water falling from the sky washes away all the bad things."

This thought had made Taehyung love the rain ever since.

'Yes, I will be fine. Something good will happen soon', he thought as he walked in the middle of the road.

He was suddenly pulled out his of thoughts as he heard the screech of brakes and a car stop behind him. Whoever was driving had almost hit him. The angry man stepped out of the car to confront him.

Taehyung was scared. He wouldn't wish to be hit twice in one night. He immediately fell on his feet and started apologizing to the man.

"Taehyung?" Taehyung was startled to hear the soft voice. He looked up and glanced at the man with the blonde hair.

"Yoongi hyung?" he barely whispered.

"Tae what happened to you? Your eye... wait. Let's go to my house, then we can talk."

Yoongi was Junho's best friend. The single person Junho would ever listen to although Yoongi was younger than him. Only because of who Yoongi was. A man with a lot of power.

Once Yoongi had made sure Taehyung was comfortable, he asked "What happened Tae? Did Junho do this?"

Taehyung was still shivering. His then black hair was damp and he barely managed to nod.

"Taehyung, what happened was not right. I will talk to him about it. For now, get some rest."

Yoongi walked out of the room and switched of the light. But the younger couldn't sleep. He was scared that when he would close his eyes, he would be trapped in those haunting nightmares. The same dreams of Junho screaming at him, him falling off a roof, him being engulfed by thousands of spiders. They never stopped.

He got up and walked out of the room. Yoongi was getting ready to go out. 'Maybe to work' the younger thought. He knew the older worked at night but didn't know where. He also knew how scared Junho was of Yoongi.

Yoongi wasn't exactly dressed in formals either. A black leather jacket, ripped jeans, silver chains and multiple rings.

"Tae, why are you up?"

"I can't sleep" the younger's voice was shaking.

"Hmm, alright, I have something that might help. My girlfriend gifted this book to me, I have tried reading it but I always end up falling asleep. You should try the same." Taehyung gave a soft smile and took the book, making his way back to the bedroom.

"My One True Love- by Kim Namjoon" Taehyung read aloud.

'Looks boring but no harm in trying' he thought as he started reading.

He didn't sleep that night. The night he thought he would have his worst nightmares, turned out to be the night, his life changed.

As he finished the book and stared at the rising sun, he realized a very important fact.

Junho, was clearly, not his One True Love.
