The Element - Loki / Avengers x Reader

Glass shattered and flew across the training room. Nat ran to Y/N's side and away from Hulk.

Loki was in the corner beaming at what was about to unravel.

Hulk was angry.

"Y/N just stay behind me." Nat slowly walked over to Hulk. "Hey big guy. Suns getting real low" she whispered. She put her hand out to the Hulk who, for a moment appeared to be listening and calm.

"No!" Hulk grabbed Nats hand and threw her across the room leaving her unconscious.
"Oh shit" Y/N felt helpless. She looked over to see Thor trying to open the room with his hammer , Tony trying to blast it with his iron hands, and Steve and Clint throwing various objects at the glass. Nothing was working.
Loki had planned this. The doors were sealed and the glass imperishable. This had to be a spell. Whilst the training rooms were virtually bomb proof, there was always a way to get in and out. Loki had stopped that.

"Bruce? It's me, Y/N" she tried to stay calm but the nerves in her voice were apparent. She held her hands up to surrender and started to back away.
"No Bruce only Hulk!" He picked up one of the scrap cars and through it over to Y/N. She dodged to get out of the way but was clipped slightly sending her crashing to the floor.

Loki was calmly sat in the corner watching with a smile on his face, going unnoticed by Hulk.
"Loki! Come and help!" Y/N begged.
"Sorry mortal, I would rather see how this pans out" he knew she had great abilities and he desperately wanted to see her try. Mostly for his own entertainment but also to see if she really was more powerful than him.

"Loki I'm not attacking Bruce !" She shouted.
"No Bruce!" Hulk threw a large tractor tyre towards Y/N. She held her hands out in front of her and suddenly her quaking ability poured out, throwing the tyre back toward him.
"Yes!" She celebrated too early. It only made him more angry.

Tony and the guys were helpless.
"Tony we need to get in there , Hulk will kill her!" Steve shouted.
"There has to be a way!" Clint yelled.
"I will speak to Loki. He knows how" Thor paced up the glass wall to meet Loki's gaze from across the room.
"Brother whatever it is you are planning, stop it now before you get Y/N killed" he pleaded.
"Oh she won't be killed. I am merely helping her to express her full abilities. Fear is an excellent tool to bring out great power" he smiled, watching towards Y/N who was now throwing small fire balls at Hulk to distract him.
"Loki you know she has the suppressor on her arm. She can't do more than throw a few flames and punches ! Stop this now!" Thor could see Loki re thinking his choice.
"Fine but I am certain she will expose her true abilities soon!" Loki stood but felt himself freeze with fear. He remembered how powerful hulk was and the ... incident he had when he was in new York during the battle.
"Loki go!" Thor shouted.

Y/N could feel herself getting tired. The flames were small but the amount she had thrown along with quaking objects out of harms way was starting to take its toll. She was sure she had broken some ribs from the wooden boxes that were thrown at her, and her face and arms were covered in cuts.
She could see out of the corner of her eye Loki , walking slowly towards her.
"Oh you've finally decided to join the party!" She said through gritted teeth.
"I'm only stopping this because Thor will tell father and I'd rather not spend eternity in a box." Loki stuttered as he tried to quietly make his way over and avoid making eye contact with Hulk.
Hulk was angry. He was getting angrier.
Loki tripped and made a loud noise causing Hulk to turn to him. He started throwing any object he could find towards Loki. Cars, logs, scrap metal , tyres , everything. He was angry. Loki was able to dodge them all but took a blow to the head after Hulk swung a scrap Honda towards him. Loki was trapped.
"Shit" he shouted.
Y/N looked outside and could see how worried Thor was , she knew Loki was in trouble.
Hulk grabbed another car and held it above his head.
"Hulk......SMASH" he shouted.
The car refused to leave his grip. He lunged forward to try and throw it but it was stuck above his head.
Loki looked up just as confused and glanced over to see Y/N with her hands held high, holding onto the car for dear life with her powers.
"Loki move I can't hold it for much longer" she grunted.
Loki tried to free himself but was wedged under the car.
Y/N could feel her energy dying so with one last attempt to stop Hulk, she screamed. Loud. The glass room shattered , the hulk and the car were thrown backwards through the now brown wall of glass to where Tony and the guys were. The lights burst and several power boxes around the room exploded.
Y/N collapsed on the floor. Ears and nose bleeding. Veins in her hands and arms burnt and her breathing slowed.

Loki managed to free himself and ran to her side. "Y/N? Wake up, can you hear me?" You could hear panic in his voice.
Tony and Steve ran to Y/N's side , Clint rushed to help Nat off of the floor and Thor was helping Bruce return from the green man.
"I swear to god reindeer games if she dies I will kill you with my bare hands" Tony shouted whilst gripping Loki by the collar.
"What the hell were you thinking ?!" Steve said whilst holding Y/N's head.
"I...I thought if I could get her scared enough that she would expose more elements. I was trying to help her" Loki felt guilty. He knew he had pushed it too far. He knew he had hurt her.

Nat and Clint rushed to extinguish the flames from the power boxes. Bruce sprinted to the team to help Y/N.
"We need to get her into medical now. She's not stable" Steve picked her up and the team followed close by towards the medical bay.
