What did he mean that he told them about the trackers in the suits? Why would he tell them such a thing ? I couldn't think about that right now. I just needed to start making an escape plan.
The door creaked open again and two men in white coats entered. Each one grabbing one of my arms, lifted me up and guided me towards the door. The pain was awful and I let out a cry. My feet were hardly keeping up and felt like jelly. The men dragged me into another room and sat me on a metal chair behind a wooden table. An empty chair sat opposite it.
The room was pretty much the same as the last one except it had better lighting and what looked to be a two way mirror on one side. I looked around the room to see if there were any clocks or calendars that might give me an indication as to how long I had been here. How many hours had I lay in that room ? How many days since I had been taken?
The two men left, closing the door behind them.
It felt like an eternity before that door reopened. Zemo walked in and sat opposite me.
We stared at each other in silence for a few minutes before he placed his hands onto the table and leaned closer to me. I sat back in my chair, hands on my lap.
"You're probably wondering why you are here" his gaze didn't leave mine.
"Well I'm pretty sure it's not for a tea party" I've got to stop hanging out with Tony. The sass was not going to help the situation but I couldn't help myself.
He chuckled "No. You're a pretty powerful girl. Some say you're the most powerful Avenger" his brows furrowed.
I didn't answer I just shrugged my shoulders.
"So, tell me about your powers. We know you can produce elements from your hands. Explain" I knew that whilst I was in the room with just Zemo, there was definitely more behind the glass mirror. I glanced over, then back to Zemo. I didn't answer.
"You're quiet. Do you not understand the question?"Is this guy for real?
"Oh I understand but after being gassed, electrocuted, drugged and forced here against my will you'll have to excuse my lack of enthusiasm for the topic. Getting kidnapped does that to a person" my eyes narrowed.
"Very well. I was giving you the easy option of just telling us but if that's too difficult for you , then maybe a chat with some of our team will loosen your tongue" the words were piercing through my ears.
I knew he meant further interrogations and the possibility of further pain.
"Where's Loki?" I looked back to him.
"He's alive if that's what you're asking. He was much more talkative than you" Zemo stood to leave but paused just before he left. "You might want to watch that attitude of yours. Our guards won't like being disrespected" he winked at me and left.I let out a sigh. For once I was glad to be back on my own. I didn't have a plan. I couldn't use my powers because I was so tired and injured. I was helpless.
A few minutes went by and the two men who dragged me here earlier returned to take me back to my cell. We went straight past the cell door and along the long dark corridor. It reminded me of a hospital wing you see in movies.
They stopped and opened another door leading me into another room. This looked familiar. They sat me on a wooden chair which was place in the middle of the room.
My arms were bound behind my back with rope. My legs were tied to the base of the chair.
One of the men switched the one and only light on in the room which was swaying above my head. Then both left.
I know this place.
My nightmare. This is the room I saw in my nightmare.
I knew what was coming next.
Shit.
My breathing hitched, my mind was racing. I tried to wriggle my hands free but the ropes were too tight and rubbing against my skin. I was trapped.
I looked ahead to the cell door and waited for someone to enter.
It creaked open and two different men returned. Both were wearing their black hydra uniforms and face masks so I couldn't see what they looked like. They must have been over 6ft tall and had bodies like a wrestler. If I wasn't in such a situation I might have once found them good looking!
"Are you ready to talk girl?" One grunted.
"I'm good thanks" stop sassing Y/N now is not the time.
The other man walked around the back of me and tied a piece of cloth around my mouth tightly which stung as I still had cuts and bruises on my face.
"No? Maybe this will help" one of the men stayed standing behind me whilst the other drew two electric shock sticks from behind him.
He ignited the both which buzzed with blue electricity and crackled. He stood for a few seconds then started to pace in front of me. He was taunting me.
My eyes were wide with fear and I could feel tears forming in my eyes.
He lunged forward and jabbed my side with one of the sticks which sent a bolt of electricity through my body.
My whole body tensed and I screamed in pain which was muffled due to the rag in my mouth.
He pulled away and I could hear him laugh. How could anyone get any pleasure out of doing this?
He came at me again, jabbing my side but now holding the other against my neck. It burned. I screamed again. I couldn't catch my breath.
This ordeal went on for what felt like hours but was probably 10 minutes.
My head dropped and I passed out. I could still hear muffled voices in the background. I heard them leave and I was left alone.
I could feel blood trickling down my neck from where the stick had burnt through my skin. My body was numb and shaking.
I lifted my head and struggled to keep my eyes open and focus.
This was just the start. How am I going to survive this? What did I do to deserve this ?
Where's Loki?
